Die Optik ist schön und das Leder bekommt etwas Glanz. Andreas der Empfindlichkeit hat sich aber nichts geändert und die Oberfläche bekommt immer noch genauso leicht Kratzer wie vorher. Außerdem habe ich das Gefühl, dass das Leder durch die Behandlung mit dem Produkt trockener geworden ist, so dass ich es anschließend wieder fetten musste. Fazit: Für die Optik ja, als schützende Endehandlung eher ungeeignet.

We embarked on a very serious project of dyeing and refinishing two couches, two loveseats and a recliner. We ordered Fiebings Pro Dye and RTC from Weaver, and then supplemented with more dye and RTC from Amazon, as well as Bee Natural Saddle oil #1. All the products were the same type and quality. It took a few weeks to finish but we are very pleased. The RTC was a critical component of the whole process. We used two coats, and it totally sealed in the dye and made everything look amazing. There is a little sheen to it, but not so much I would call it gloss. We applied it with a flannel cloth in a circular motion after the leather had been well oiled. It is super water resistant and still soft and flexible to sit on. I'm just trying to decide if this is the treatment to use twice a year to keep up the finish or where to go next. But we think the RTC is worth every penny.
