Easy to setup, works perfectly
Excellent device, our TV (Samsung Frame) only has optical out so I have struggled for years to find a good solution for watching horror movies in the evening while my daughter is in bed. These were very easy to setup, the headsets came pre-paired with the transmitter and as soon as I plugged the optical cord in and turned the transmitter on (and turned the switch on the transmitter to opt) they worked. There WAS 1 error message that popped up on the TV which I "canceled" but they worked fine with no additional setup required on the TV end. Am currently delighted with them, I am no audiophile but the sound quality seems perfect to me and you can adjust volume on the headset easily. They are comfortable and have good sound exclusion - ie I have to lift an ear up to hear what my family are saying to me! Would 100% recommend to couples who want to watch TV in a small house when the kids are in bed - or if you don't want to disturb neighbours

Excellent quality and performance.
As I have a hearing aid this offered the answer to my problem with TV audio level. I have to turn the volume level up much to the disapproval of wife and family!! Problem now gone away the headphones are perfectly clear and with more volume than needed, even have a spare set for wife who won't accept yet , she too has a hearing issue! Very comfortable to wear and easy to set up. Only slight issue is the small size of writing on the controls, not the manufacturers fault, as I also have AMD affect close up vision. I have an older, 16 year TV and use it's mini jack output socket which works perfectly. I was surprised at the range of the headset (100 FT) I can walk around anywhere in the house and garden with the same clarity and volume. Well done Avantree for a truly excellent product, highly recommended.

Seems ok so far, it has its high and low points.
I was a little hesitant to buy these as there isn't many reviews out there. I'll try help you as honest as possible. I'm 35 and was interested in these as we live in a semi detached house and our Samsung TVs are so bass heavy you can't watch anything to loud (as we are good neighbors) The number one thing I was worried about was the lower tones or bass as I presumed these are aimed more towards the elderly, that's judging by the promo pictures and images I have seen whilst researching. I can confirm they are ok to be fair...nothing like Bose or top end heaphones but they are more than acceptable, in fact they are perfect for me not to bass heavy and not tiny at all. The second thing was the dual receiver, I am happy to say so far they have not had any connection issues. I had a little background noise on full volume but turn it down by one and it's fine. So long as you have direct view of the receiver then you shouldn't have any connection issues. The things I like 1. Separate volume is awesome 2. Charging is easy, just pop the headset on the receiver. 3. Sound is ok and not to tiny (don't expect Bose levels of rich tones and bass) but they are more than acceptable. 4.easy setup, usb to power it, jack or optical to send sound. 5. No noticeable lip sync or lag. 6. Fairly comfortable with leather ear pads, my ears didn't sweat after watching last of us episode and a movie straight afterwards so about 3 hours in one go. Thigs we don't like 1.not the best made devices, they feel like they would snap if you accidentally sat on them. 2. They are a little ugly and somewhat miss the market for younger to middle aged "tech minded" people. 3. Volume on the highest setting sounds like the headphone is at its absolute limits, I turn it down one or two from the top volume. 4.clear voice is awful, yes you get an enhancement in higher frequencies of sound but it sounds good awful, maybe good for a 70 year old hard of hearing but it's pointless in my opinion, you hear just fine on the only other setting which is called "balanced" 5. Shame you can't customise sound settings, at this price point you would think it would have an app to customise or update headset. Verdict Decent headset with the dual receiver being the star, it integrates so well with no lag, no sudden loss of connections. Sound is ok not amazing but good enough. Headset itself is ugly and flimsy,I bought these for £170 and so far think it's a fair enough price... Was a real treat watching movies without a care in the world, hearing every detail and every bit of dialogue. If it was out of 10 I would probably go with 7 out of 10. Hope this was a little helpful, Cheers.

Headphones
The sound quality is brilliant definitely 5 * . Unfortunately we had an issue with the sets that the area near the ear snapped but when I reached out to Aventree customer service they were very helpful . They asked for proof of fault and then promptly sorted out a full replacement free of charge and got them dispatched super fast. Love using them to watch TV. We live near a busy main road so when we have the window open we can't hear too much over the traffic without the tv too loud , now with these headphones it's no problem at all . Best of all users can have different volume levels to each other so it's personal sound comfort for the individual using them

Not fit for seniors
These are by far the worst head phones available on the market. The quality is so fragile the plastic breaks so easily. mine are hanging by a thread and won't last another week. You will see if you buy.

Brilliant!
Nice and easy 5 min setup, love the features, once setup no need to turn on or off, the charging dock takes care of that, comfortable and of course, sound amazing. I'm 60, slight hearing problem, worried about disturbing my neighbours! Build quality is as expected, high 😁 only criticism, and it's slight, why put the pairing on the same switch as on and off!?!? Not that I will use the switch much. On my TV I have a soundbar on HDMI ARC,but I left it as was and plugged my new headphone transmitter into the TVs 3.5mm earphone jack, Now the TV sound can be turned down to zero if needed, but sound still comes through the earphones and is adjusted individually on each pair. I look forward to years of reliability, thanx 😊

Overall Good
The head phones are easily installed and work strait from the box. Quality of the material is good and they are comfortable to wear. For people that are not too fussy on the overall sound these headphones will do fine but for those who like hearing music on a hifi level these headphones will fall a little short, I gave a rating of 4 stars because of this. For the price however these headphones do a good job for TV use and I would buy them again.

The base station was easy to connect to our smart tv, the equipment is well made and the headphones cut out outside noise and produce good quality sound.

The range is much better than any bluetooth headset that I have and also than Sennheiser RS-175 , audio is okay, but not as good as the Sennheiser RS-175. I chose the dual type even though I'm the only user, that way I can switch headphones when they run out of power. Charging is fast and takes just a few hours. I have used it for a month now, looks like a quality product, I give 4 stars only because the audio quality is not super.

Being a night owl means that pretty much anything you do is going to create noise that disturbs others. Watching a movie is no fun when you have to ride the volume control in order to keep booms from booming--but you'd still like to know what the actors are saying without having to resort to using subtitles. If you're a musician, good luck pounding out those riffs at three in the morning without hearing the wrong type of audience feedback. If you're a music lover, others might not enjoy the fact that you turned your home into a concert hall in order to hear your favorite jam in the next room. (As a side note to apartment dwellers: that surround-sound-subwoofered experience you insist upon? Your neighbors absolutely despise you for it--no matter what time of day it is. Trust me on this.) If you're one of those old-fashioned types who still believes that being considerate toward others is a good idea, these headphones are for you. If your hearing isn't quite what it used to be and cranking the volume just so you can hear much of anything is a way of life, these headphones are for you. If watching television with others means you fight over how loud it is, these headphones are for you. Here's why they're great. For one, the charging base is about as big as your average headphone stand, and it looks nice to boot. You can keep them where they're easy to get to and they won't clutter up your entertainment system. They'll look like they belong there, not like they were just kind of shoved there. Unlike some other charging bases I could mention, there's no fighting with your headphones to make sure they're making proper contact so they'll recharge: you just hang them up and watch for the little red light to turn on. That's it. You can also hook more than one type of device to the base. On mine, I have my television plugged into the optical input, and my guitar multi-effects pedal plugged into the standard stereo jack input. A switch on the back of the base lets me change which device I'd like to use, and when I'm finished I can switch it back again. There's no noticeable audio lag either way, so it works flawlessly. When you consider all the audio devices one can use which have nothing to do with turning on a television, it opens a lot of options. There's an audio passthrough on the base as well. For television usage, what this means is you run your television's audio into the base, then connect your regular sound system to the passthrough. Doing this means you can use your headphones at the same time as others enjoy your soundbar or surround system. If you tend to need (or enjoy) louder volume than your viewing partners do, this ends a lot of fights. If all you want are the headphones, simply keep your regular sound system turned off--you'll still hear everything just fine through the headphones. If you want just your regular sound system, simply leave the headphones turned off. It's not all-or-nothing. While this unit comes with two headphones, you can purchase additional headphones and pair them to the same base. You'll need to use the USB connection on each additional headphone to recharge them (there's only room on the base for two), but it's still a handy way of bringing peace to the rest of the house when there's a slumber party or some other group watching party going on. The thing is, these headphones give you options you wouldn't have had otherwise. The headphones themselves are very comfortable and do a good job at muffling outside noise. You'll likely still hear the important things like a smoke alarm or a knock at the door, but you'll be able to focus on the audio while reducing outside distractions. These headphones have a pronounced bass that can be toned down by engaging the dialogue switch on each unit, which accentuates the vocals while diminishing the sound effects. Volume controls are easy to find, as well. Each ear cup is marked with an "L" or an "R," so you'll know which ear goes to which cup. Once on, it's easy to forget you're wearing them. And since they're wireless, you can get up and refresh your drink or listen to music while cooking dinner--all without fighting cords. These have very good range, so wander around all you want! The comfort and ease of use means you're actually going to use these, even if technology normally tends to frustrate you. Plus they solve so many problems while offering so much flexibility, it's hard to imagine anyone who couldn't use a setup like this. They'd certainly make a good gift, and you'll be able to personally vouch for how amazing they are. Highly recommended!
