Not made in Japan, but still great - put it on my 22R-E 1994 Toyota Pickup
94' Toyota Pickup: Came quickly, fits well, and came in a nice labeled box. Looks to be made well and made in Taiwan, not Japan (I would have preferred Japan). The spring on these caps can ware out (fail). Replacing your radiator caps (for me it is for a 94' Toyota (22R-E)) is an easy maintenance thing to do. I tend to do this about every eight years or 80,000 miles (so it doesn't have to be done often). This one has a metal spring (which is good). You can't see in the product's photos. I paid $6.81 (08-2020). The blue rubber seems to be silicone - which lasts longer than rubber seals and does better in cold temps, but can usually only stand temperatures to about 200 degrees and car radiator temps tend to get a high of 195 degrees. I prefer silicone, but didn't know that the temp limits would be so close. So I'll keep an eye on it and update this review if it fails. Otherwise nice product and I would buy again and is a value for the money.

The radiator cap was assembled with quality and attention to detail, it fit perfectly on my newly installed Denso Radiator in my 2001 Infiniti QX4.

Fit 2009 Nissan Versa perfectly
I performed a coolant flush, replaced thermostat and radiator hoses at 90k miles. However, I started losing coolant and could not find any visible leaks. Based on comments that I had found in my research, I replaced the radiator cap, and this fixed the problem. The cap arrived quickly, fit perfectly and resolved the coolant leak issue.
