Glass Honey Pot with Dipper and Glass Lid - Honey Jar Dispenser Container - No Drip Honey Keeper for Kitchen - 13.5 Oz

Just got this honey pot today, and I am very satisfied. Our family uses a good deal of honey, which we purchase in large plastic squeeze bottles. The honey flows very slowly out of those bottles, and is forever crystallizing- but the size of the container makes it very difficult to partially submerge in hot water to melt the honey, it is a ridiculously slow process, and I am not at all comfortable with microwaving plastic to re-liquefy the honey. I did a lot of research, and this pot hits all the high points: - Jar is glass (can submerge in hot water, or potentially microwave, to re-liquefy honey). - No easily-breakable parts (the dispensers- even the glass ones- with levers for easy pouring, had plastic parts and mechanisms, which seemed flimsy and easily breakable to me). - Lid is airtight (who wants to attract ants/pests through an opening for the dipper???). - Dipper goes to the bottom, and is fused to the lid so I don’t have to look for it. Plus you get 2 extra dippers. - Dipper won’t break off and leave glass in the honey (a few reviewers of other pots mentioned this happening). - Pot is wide-mouthed (more room to maneuver dipper when lifting it out and transferring it, thus less potential for messy drips & drizzles- plus faster access than a drip from a small hole like with the plastic squeeze bottles or upside-down dispensers). - Pot is stable (others are sometimes top-heavy and thus more likely to tip over). My really fussy nit-picks: - Could be more decorative (I actually like the cute beehive shapes, and the bee-shaped dippers). - Glass MAYBE?? could have been thicker?? I would say it’s about the same as my French coffee press. - I would have preferred a dispenser like the ones with the levers, where the honey releases from the bottom. BUT. Like I said, the mechanisms seemed cheap, plastic, slow-flowing and leaky. So I’ll take the dipper and the wide-mouthed pot with quick, easy and sustainable access to the honey. Overall, though, this honey pot satisfies all of my most important requirements, and I am so happy with the purchase!

Glass was extremely thin and broke soon after use. Looks nice. Much too thin a glass for something that will most likely be handled by youth.

Messy… have to move whatever item I’m putting the honey on closer to the dispenser so that honey doesn’t drip all over the counter… if not careful, honey does drip on the side of the glass jar… will purchase a different dispenser like the ones used for pouring syrup for my future use…

Works as expected. it was a hit at the party. We hand wash it and it’s been holding up. Yes, we would recommend it. Great quality the wood is nice.
