Highest quality material and very sturdy for regular usage

I would have rated four stars if the bag had a zip atleast to hold goods without talking off. A sling cud have had a zipper to close the main opening. That's what is a huge demerit. Rest all fine. Good built. Loved carrying it with jeans and saree as well. Pretty sturdy material for wildlifers on the go into forests. All except that one zipper makes it a good product with scope of improvement.

The House Of Tara 100% Cotton Canvas Messenger Bag in distress Finish (Desert Strom & Acorn Brown) An OK product but not too great. The size is not too compact, yet not adequately big to hold a 15 inch laptop. So its a disadvantage at both ends. The canvas used is good but not thick enough to give the product a definite shape. If there is not much stuff lying in the bag, if you put it on a table, it slumps and behaves like a jhola. I remember similar bags of the 1980s which were much finer, rugged and utilitarian. The inner pocket is poorly sized, with the designers not checking whether an average smartphone used today with its cover can fit inside the pockets. The slinging strap is very nice, comfortable and adequate. The buckles are sturdy and trendy. The printing too is trendy and nice. The magnetic locking system looks useless to me, unless one has the time to operate the same each time. The idea of a hanging key to the outside to 'lock' the flap is nice and innovative. The inner lining is marginally smaller than the outer. So the edges turn inwards by half a centimeter. Overall an OK bag with a lot of scope for improvement. Hope the designers use a piece for a week on a daily basis and check out what all I am trying to say. Maybe then improvements will come about.

This review is after a long use of House of Tara sling bag. I have taken this back with me almost everywhere and using it from years. Started with Office and ended with groceries. Still have same studies and durability. I like almost all the bags from House of Tara and happy to purchase again.
