KidKraft Racecar Wooden Children's Bookshelf with Three Shelves - Blue & Red, 35.75 inches Tall

I purchased this bookcase for my 2 1/2 year old grandson for the books that we have at our home. I was looking for something that was not so large and my grandson would have easy access to his books. This bookcase definitely fit the criteria. I have purchased other KidKraft products (train table and easel) so I was confident I would be pleased with the quality. I was not disappointed. The bookcase is colorful, easy to put together, and sturdy. My grandson loves cars so I knew he would be happy with the race car design on top shelf. It is small enough so it fits perfectly in the room where he sleeps when he visits, but it holds quite a few books. Books will obstruct the view of the race car so only small toys work for that shelf.

I purchased this bookcase for my toddler who loves it! The bookcase is very sturdy and well made. The bottom shelf is deeper than the top shelf, which makes it more stable by putting the larger and heavier books on the bottom shelf. The top shelf is not deep, so you can only put small books or toys.You cannot adjust the height of the shelves, so you will not be able to fit some of the large books such as  First Look and Find: Thomas & Friends .Below are additional dimensions you may want to know before purchasing this bookcase:Spacing between the bottom and 2nd shelf & 2nd shelf and the top shelf: 10.75 inchesDepth (front to the backboard):- bottom shelf: 9.875 inches- middle shelf: 8.5 inches- top shelf: 5.75 inches

It’s definitely made for toddlers. Shelf is small but it serves the purpose along with the bed. My son loves his new bedroom set!

Grandpa sponsoring this order for my son's 4th birthday. His Dad put it together and it looked fairly easy. Some of the pre-drilled holes were a challenge, but the finished product was very sturdy and looked great. We sorted all of the books by size and they all fit to begin my son's library. The oversized books sit on the top shelf and the heavier books are stacked on the bottom. We love it!

Very easy to put together (my VERY first piece of furniture I put together myself without making my husband do it). Looks sharp and seems pretty sturdy. Also comes with a piece you can attach to the back of it so you can screw it into the wall if you are worried about it falling over onto your kiddo.

The bookshelf is a lot bigger then I expected! It holds all of my sons books and stuffed animals and still has some room! It it very sturdy, but it was a little difficult to put together! Doing it by myself with a 2 year old running around probably didn't help the situation. All and all great product!

Purchased for my grandson who is almost 3. He loves it and it is a wonderful addition to his room. The bookcase is the perfect size and the colors are bright and cheery - exactly as shown. I am a 66 year old grandma who does not assemble things often, but I put this together myself and it was fairly simply and didn't take long to complete. Would definitely recommend this product.
