Excellent build quality for the price
Excellent for the price. Nice and compact but reassuringly weighty. Feels very well built. Cuts nice and short and evenly, so you don't need to go over the same area over and over again. Battery life also seems to be very good, only losing about 5-10% per use (full head shaving).Even if it doesn't last too long, still well worth the money in my opinion.

Professional Power, Unbelievable Price
I am absolutely blown away by the quality of the GLAKER K11S hair clippers. The moment I held them, I knew I’d stumbled across something seriously underrated — especially considering the price. This isn’t one of those flashy but flimsy kits that looks great in pictures and fails in action. I’ve used various Wahl models over the years including the Wahl Elite Pro, the Wahl Lithium Ion Pro Series, and the Wahl Super Taper, and while each has its strengths, the GLAKER outperforms them where it truly counts: in reliability, sharpness, and real-world versatility. It’s built like a tank but glides like butter — the best of both worlds. The first proper test was cutting my own hair, blending sides and tapering the back. The taper lever was smooth and solid, and the motor stayed consistent even when passing through thicker patches. I’ve got fairly coarse hair and it handled it effortlessly, without snagging or stuttering. Next came my beard, followed by edging around the neckline and trimming sideburns — again, zero complaints. But the real eye-opener was when I handed it to my wife to test on her legs and even more delicate zones. She was surprised at how smoothly it handled longer hair without the scary tugging or rough motor noise you get with lower-tier trimmers. I tried it too on body hair — legs, chest, groin — and it delivered clean, consistent results, without nicking or irritation. The included guards are thick, click on securely, and cover a brilliant range from tight fades to longer trims. I appreciated the longer 38mm and 51mm options, which are rare and allow you to maintain longer styles or do pre-scissor blending. The stainless steel blades feel seriously premium — there’s none of that soft whirring or cheap flex that some mid-range clippers have. These bite into hair cleanly and evenly, even at full battery use after several sessions.Battery life is phenomenal — 240 minutes run time, and it charges up in just a few hours. I went almost a full week with five grooming sessions without needing to top it up. I took it with me on a short trip, and the lightweight metal body and USB charging made it ideal for travel. The LED screen is a small but helpful touch. It gives an exact percentage rather than a vague light, so I always knew when it needed topping up.Out of curiosity, I brought it into my barber for a bit of fun — just to see his reaction. He took one look, held it, turned it on, and then guessed it was something from the £200+ bracket, maybe from Gamma or BaByliss Pro. When I told him it was under £50, he looked absolutely baffled. He even tried it briefly and said, “I’d use this in the shop, honestly.” That said it all.Yes, it’s not zero-gap out of the box, and it’s not a dedicated foil shaver or detail trimmer. But for 95% of grooming tasks — from fading, trimming, body grooming, to beard maintenance — it delivers beyond expectations. The metal body gives it the weight of a pro clipper without being unwieldy. It's not waterproof, so cleaning has to be careful, but the included brush and oil make that easy enough. For the price, I don’t think there’s a better value grooming tool on the market right now. This has officially replaced all my old Wahl gear and earned a permanent place in my bathroom drawer.

High quality build
First thing to know - this clipper comes with a strong storage case that keeps the clipper and all accessories safe. Straight out of the case and the clipper feels like a quality build. It has a comforting weight to it but isn’t too heavy to prevent long usage. The on off switch has a smooth and positive action, same with the fine adjustment lever for the blades. Overall giving confidence this will last and do a good job.Using the clippers was a good experience. The cut is clean and effective on the first pass leaving hair feeling smooth and without any “chopped” ends. Battery life seems to be fine. I have used a few times now and still over 80% - which is shown on a digital display on the clipper handle. The fine adjustment lever really does help with fading between comb lengths. The clipper is very quiet and there is very little vibration to the hand.As for the accessories, the range of combs is great. You get ear guides as well and additional combs for really long hair. You also get oil, protective gown, cleaning brush, and scissors.Would recommend.

Very high quality clippers with some annoying flaws
Firstly, the battery life and cutting capability of these is second to none, really really impressed with them so far. Battery has lasted about 5 cuts including the dog, so really excellent longevity and they cut as well as any clippers I have ever used. The selection of size guards is excellent (almost too many if I am honest!) and the case is a really nice touch. There are however a few annoying niggles to the device. Firstly they publicise USB charge capabilities - but is actually USB to 2 pin figure of 8, which is incredibly annoying - why not just have an industry standard usb c connector on the device and be done with it!Secondly, the device is almost unbelievably heavy, there is an element of "heavy is good, and if it doesn't work you can always hit someone with it", but it almost feels unwieldy as a result, it is only a minor gripe, but there you go!It isn't water-proof, given the weight it would have been nice if it was, it is so un-waterproof that they even state that you cant wash the blade under running water.

Stunning clippers
Amazing build quality, so much better than the expensive brand (which I ordered and returned)Feels very nice to use, well balanced and even though it's metal bodied, doesn't feel heavy. Cut is precise and unit runs very quiet, nothing worse than noisy clippers.Like the battery level display, very useful, obviously time will tell with regards to long term usage but, all in all, works very well and generally really impressed. Great value for money... Recommending this unit to my wife's hairdresser 🤓
