Just out of box, this PanPastel Hansa Yellow is amazing. It did not get broken up in shipping, still a solid mass of color. The yellow color is intense. It works great on dark colored paper. Very vibrant and rich looking. It has great coverage, so you do not need a heavy hand when applying it to art work. It covers nicely on all papers with a rough surface. It works on smooth paper, but you do not get the same intensity as on rough card stock. If you make a mistake, just erase it and start again. Very easy to use.
