Small & cheap
This is cute but very tiny and sort of cheap looking. I bought two for Christmas presents / stocking stuffers for a couple who were great golfers. They turned out to be sort of joke gifts because they are so small. Since I didn’t use them myself I can’t speak to their value.

Elegant
My son is an excellent golfer who keeps serious records about his golf game. I know nothing about golf, so it was just an impulse buy for Christmas. He loved it!! He uses it!!! It is very elegant looking and he is very proud to pull it out of his golf bag in the presence of his golf companions. Some have asked where he got it. The size is perfect for his golf bag, but ample for writing in and keeping records. I can't vouch for the specifics of the book, but the fact that he uses it every time he plays golf should address that question.
