Loved the enemies trope, the banter, the games. Also liked that it ended on a cliff hanger for the next book! Like Rafe turning soft for her and making sure she sleeps in the car.

Wow….. this is definitely one for the smart mouth girls. The rivalry and list keeps you wanting to read more. On to the second book I can’t get enough!

This book was fun the electric pull the ability to use gambling to one up the other was wonderful but the anticipation waiting for spice was torture the book ended with no real spice so I'll be reading the next as I'm invested..

And here I thought there’s no way book 2 would live up to book 1. How wrong can one person be?

It started off slow for me. There is such a thing as too much description and the use of syrup and how on edge she was while talking to him while beaten like a dead horse. He would say one thing and the FMC no joke would go on for five paragraphs before she even responded just using long drawn out descriptions that reallllllly just used up the word count. Less is more. Other than that I really enjoyed the story and the background characters.

Loved it. The banter is at times hilarious. It’s so well written. I don’t typically pay attention to how a book is written if it’s a good story, I can overlook a lot of flaws. I’m not looking for a 5 ⭐️masterpiece, just a 5 ⭐️ story. But this was such a surprise. There were some phrases in here that really caught my attention and it enriched the story a ton. Even though there is a lot of day to day, I was never bored because the antagonistic way they communicate is both hilarious and really delves deep into the development of their relationship, why these characters are right for each other.That being said, I kinda love Rafe. That is all.

Ummmmmmmm so good. Don’t really have much to say. One sitting read. Unfortunately I do not give 5 stars easily but this came so close.
