Fanatec Forza Motorsport Racing Wheel and Pedals Bundle for Xbox One and PC

This comes with just a quick hook up guide but no explanation as to what the different size screws are for where they go-NOTHING. Go to their website for "downloadable instructions" and after jumping through hoops to create an account I cant even submit an email question without uploading my invoice and other "hoops" to jump through (i.e. country code for telephone number) doesn't seem like they want to answer technical questions or inquiries.

Simply amazing smoothness and force feedback strength and feel from a belt-drive wheel base. It’s as close as you can get to direct drive wheels (which aren’t even available for consoles) without actually buying direct drive. Excellent build quality, high-end materials, and almost feels like the real thing. Even the quick-disconnect is made of the similar solid aluminum parts as those found on real race cars. I currently use this interchangeably on Xbox One (Forza 7, Horizon 3, etc) and PS4 Pro (GT Sport, Dirt Rally, Dirt 4, WRC 7, Project Cars 2). Yes you heard that right; one wheel+pedal set for both consoles! It’s deisgned for Xbox One so it’s a direct connection, but for the PS4 I use an $80 DriveHub adapter from Collective Minds, which emulates a Logitech G29 wheel and was an easy plug-and-play out of the box. Workes great on both systems, though the force feedback on Forza 7 feels a tad better, but that may be due to the FFB programming in the game software rather than the adapter. Did I memtion it works for PC as well? Best steering wheel for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. As great as the wheel is, the Clubsport V3 Pedals it comes bundled with is the crown jewel of the whole setup. I’ve tried many pedal sets before but nothing is even in the same league as these Fanatec V3 pedals, especially with regards to the load cell brake pedal feel. If you already have a wheel you’re happy with, just add these pedals via adapter and you won’t regret it. This bundle is also available directly from Fanatec for the same price but also includes the Shifter SQ 1.5 whereas this Amazon bundle doesn’t. Why? Fanatec’s explanation is that it offsets the fees they have to pay to sell on amazon. Poor business model in my opinion. If a vendor has to pay fees to sell in a certain marketplace that gets wide exposure like Amazon, they should just pay them and not pass on the added costs to the customer! It’s the cost of doing business. The fact that you will sell more of these through Amazon especially when glowing reviews like this pop up, is worth the fees you pay. Not cool to charge the customer more than what you do on your site. Regardless of this, I bought from Amazon anyway simply because I have no need for a shifter at the moment and by buying through Amazon, I knew I’d have peace of mind and easy customer service with regards to any potential returns or refunds should I have any issues with the $1300 toy I just bought.

Bought it and wheelbase was broken off wouldn't work along with horrible grinding noise

First of all, I do have to say I only play (99% of the time) Codemasters F1 game on the Xbone, so this might not apply to every game or (PC) user, also I'm not a pro sim racer but I do spend 8+ hours a week playing which I would think, makes me more than just a casual gamer. Moving on. Two months ago, and a little bit over a year after I bought my Logitech G920 (which I know most people don't like) I decided to upgrade to this Fanatec bundle and to be honest, I'm not impressed. ClubSport Pedals v3 Pedals are great, but since I don't use a stick shift and the clutch pedal, I don't think the brake pedal makes that big of a difference in my case. I removed the hard rubber part from the G920 which made the brake pedal softer, and the CS V3 brake pedal is an improvement, but it only gets so good and not perfect as many people claim in youtube or other review websites ClubSport Wheel Base v2.5 Servo is perfect, this is the heart and soul of the bundle but you can get this by itself and get cheaper pedals and wheel. Forza Motorsport Steering Wheel This is the reason why this bundle is not 5 stars, I'm just counting the days until I have some spare money to change the wheel. Built quality is good but the buttons are slow to press/react I feel I'm losing time when I try to hit the DRS button. They're also quite far from my thumbs so my hands have to stretch to be able to hit them which obviously doesn't help when you're trying to concentrate on hitting the apex. Fanatec says they're customizable but that is only true to some degree on the Xbone. The button caps started to fall so at the moment most of my wheel has just black buttons. 7-function FunkySwitch... This thing and its location make it pretty hard to tune your car settings mid-race. Its just too far from the action, you cant thumb things down you basically have to take one hand off the weel. Overall I think this bundle deserves three stars. The pedals are great (but not as perfect as almost every reviewer out there claim), the Wheel Base is incredible but the Wheel is bad and considering the price tag... I don't see 1k USD difference in this bundle compared to my G920. Maybe if you consider that you can later change the wheel but that will still run you another 200-300 USD... So if you already have a Logitech or Thrustmaster and you are at least 80% ish happy with it and getting this bundle would mean an extra effort, stick to what you have since this is not 1k USD better.

très bon matériel je le recommande.par contre la mise en marche j'ai galérer plusieurs heures pour mettre en marche et trouver tous les réglages. mode d'emploi a chier. mais une fois installe que du bonheur. attention la fixation dans le colis et pour un support a visser. Très bonne qualité je recommande cela vaut son prix. la première commande le volant en panne retour parfait avec Amazon. je viens de recevoir la 2 commande parfait est pour avoir quelque conseille je suis passé par le chat de fanatec avec un traducteur de texte .le correspondant très pro et patient au vue de mes questions qui n’était pas très précise. Donc une fois compris le fonctionnement du site fanatec que du BONHEUR. OUI c'est cher mais sa vaut le prix vous ne le regrettait pas.on peut tout régler avec beaucoup de finesse.

Dopo 1 settimana di prova intensiva posso affermare che il Fanatec club sport 2.5 è una bomba,cosi come la pedaliera v3, ho avuto il Logitech G29, l ho tenuto 2 mesi e l ho rivenduto, feedback troppo moscio,pedaliera nella media poi ho avuto il Trustmaster T300 Ferrari 599 evo, e pedaliera t3pa pro, molto meglio del Logitech ma ancora non ero soddisfatto, .. così ho deciso di prendere il fanatec.. in più ho preso il volante in stile gt3 carboon .. che dire... ho migliorato i miei tempi di quasi un secondo in tutto le piste. Anche la pedaliera è molto precisa, il freno è quasi paragonabile ad un un'auto reale,per quanto è preciso e modulabile. Il fanatec costa tanto? Ni..se pensate al solo prezzo allora Si costa tanto.. se pensate a tutte le ore di divertimento e le soddisfazioni che vi da allora No non costa tanto..per il resto quasi tutti gli hobby sono costosi .. per me vale 5 stelle

Bien emballé et aucun défaut d'utilisation

When the item arrived you could tell care and effort was put into it You can feel the quality It was easy to install and after flashing the drivers and calibration of the wheel and setting the pedals up how I prefer them it changed my experience in games for the better, you can feel everything from over braking to losing control and with the brakes set right feels like they do in my car giving me more control and improving my times and consistency round the track I'm very happy with this product from fanatec

After some teething problems with the set up . Now that it works my son is delighted with it.
