Sennelier Artists Oil Pastels - Set Of 12 X Iridescent

Why these oil pastels are classed as toys I will never know. Sennelier are amongst the best quality pastels and are intended for artists and I would think they are too expensive to give kids for doing colouring books. So, maybe toys for grown ups. I usually prefer soft pastels - something so gorgeous about the chalky texture. But these are like mini sticks of butter. They are so creamy and intense in colour. They are great for doing rubbings and blend nicely. I haven't tried them in encaustic art yet but I think they'd be an excellent addition to basic encaustic wax colours.

Le colis est bien arrivé mais malgré le fait que l'emballage semblait neuf il n'y avait à l'intérieur que 11 pastels au lieu de 12 annoncés...

Ottimi colori forse un po troppo morbidi..

Morbidissimi, occorre una certa manualità nell'uso di questi pastelli, forse non adatto a fruitori alle prime armi con questo genere di articolo. Pastosissiami e ottimamente amalgamabili.

I am very happy with these oil pastels They are creamy and cover very well. The colours are rich with a beautiful sheen. So pleased that I have chosen Sennelier, these pastels are streets ahead of other makes that I have used.
