Once plugged into the HDMI port, it basically disappears behind the TV, which keeps everything tidy.Setup was incredibly simple. Just connect to power, plug into the HDMI port, and follow the on-screen instructions to connect to WiFi and log into your Google account. The stick runs on Android TV 11, offering a clean, user-friendly interface. You get access to the Google Play Store, so I was able to quickly install all my favorite apps like Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, and more.One of the standout features is the voice-controlled remote with Google Assistant. It’s responsive, comfortable to hold, and makes searching super easy. I can say things like “Play Stranger Things on Netflix” or “Show me the weather,” and it works instantly.Performance-wise, the 2GB RAM and quad-core processor handle 4K HDR streaming smoothly. I tested multiple 4K videos on YouTube and Netflix, and the playback was sharp, colorful, and lag-free. This is one great TV stick. It does the job so well. I am delighted with it. It is plugged into on of two HDMI ports on my Samsung smart monitor and connected to my wifi. Bluetooth connectivity is good too for the built in Google Assistant.

This is worth it. A teeny, tiny bit buggy but so is the competitor model which sells for 3x the price of this. Dolbyvision & sound as well as fluid responsiveness that healed my cheap "smart" tv. All the android apps too, plus more. Can't go wrong with this. PS this is an update to an earlier review. I've used it for a while now.

I've had many different streaming devices, and this Xiaomi Mi is the worst of all. This thing has many things to be fixed and improved.It has a TV streaming channel button on remote, but the channels are not unavailable in U.S (and probably also in other countries except China). The latest firmware update won't fix it.Chromecast mirroring function did not properly work with Netflix, Disney and apps pre-installed. You also have to log in the apps to use cast function. I've never had this problem with other devices.The default volume was so weak. You can increase the volume with some hacks, though.The USB cable is very short (about 3 ft). You may need to buy longer cable if you don't have one at home.I wouldn't recommend it.
