I ordered two of these. One to keep cat food and the other to waterglass duck eggs. The glass is thick and it was extremely well packed. I knew what I was getting with the lids because I looked at all the other reviews. The ring to seal the lid is stiff plastic and I'm not sure how well it works as a seal. I might modify the lids myself but they are okay as they are, that's just me being finicky. They aren't as aesthetically pleasing as the containers but they are functional. For an extremely large glass container I am beyond happy with this purchase and I love the way they look in my kitchen.

I love this container. It is very big, large enough to easily hold a 25# bag of kibble. It was promptly shipped and very, very well packaged. It was exactly what I was looking for and with the silicone gasket, it seals very well, too.

It arrived on time, in perfect condition and it servef the purpose. I used it to pickle cabbage. I had to edit and withdraw a star because after a few months, the metal lid got damaged by the salty water used to pickle the cabbage, resulting in large spots and even some rust on the metal lid.

This glass is thick and the lid seals very well. I love the size of this jar. I'm getting away from plastic anything as food storage and while this is on the high side as far as price goes, it is worth it. I buy in bulk and this jar allows me to consolidate the food in greater volume. So far, sugar, flour, wheat berries, salt are the items that are stored in this jar and it takes up less space than multiple storage containers. I buy one every few months. Love them.

The glass is thick and well made. Seams run up both sides which are kind of sloppy but not a deal breaker. I've used it for a planted shrimp breeding tank and it has worked well.

I am a baker and bought these jars to store flour, sugar and dried goods. I buy in bulk and needed something large. I bought 2, to see how much they would hold, I thought they were perfect, so I ordered 2 more, by the time the second order was delivered, the rivets that hold the center of the lid together came loose, on one of the lids, and it is no longer air tight, which lets moisture, from the air, it could let bugs, dust or anything into my dry goods. It was past the date I could return the jar, but I think I will be returning the last 2 I bought, which is unfortunate because they are the perfect size and I planned on ordering several more. The glass is thick, they are nice jars, but for the price, I guess you need to decide if you want to take a chance with the lids.

I bought one of these during a sale and love it. I buy many items in bulk and like to move food items out of plastic to glass. This one is storing dried sliced apples. I will definitely buy more of these jars.

I bought two of them and love how sturdy and spacious they are! They’re exactly what I needed in terms of size and build. However, the smell when I opened the package was overwhelming—I thought it was just from the packaging, but even after washing them and letting them air dry for two days, the odor lingered. I tried baking soda and vinegar, and I’m hoping that helps. If you’re sensitive to smells, just be aware that it may take some effort to get rid of it. Otherwise, the quality is great!
