Incredible suction. Doesn't move. Releases easy when needed. Quality seems good after a few weeks. I only wish I had discovered this device mounting system sooner, after wasting time on inferior products. Determine length for the arm part you need to purchase separately to get the distance perfect off your windshield.

Bought this to mount my tablet while flying, amazing product, great suction, works for the car too! RAM is absolutely the best product you can buy.

Using this with an iPad mount at the helm of my boat. Rock solid, even in considerable chop and heavy wave action. Giving this five stars and then some!

I like RAM Mount products and they do a good job overall and are universal. This suction mount works 98% of the time, but I’ve had several circumstances where it falls off of the windshield. It normally only seems to happen when I try to put my phone into my X mount and not while driving, but it’s still a little annoying when it happens. It blows my mind that I was in an auto accident that deployed my air bags and it stayed in place, but yet I can sometimes come out to my car and it will literally just fall off when I barely touch it.

So I have had this product and use in tractor trailers. Since we have slip seating it get applied and removed alot! It works great. I like to put a drop of water on it to improve the seal. Sometimes it releases when I have either left to much air in due to poor application after it heats up in the sun or with defrost on when it expands the air. The suction cup has held up well since I have taken care not to let it get damaged. All in all its what I expect from RAM mounts as a 30 year user in personal, professional, fire and EMS applications. On a humors note some one flipped the cam in the suction lock on me and I thought it failed. Quick disassembly to ser if I needed to put in warrenty claim and the Issue was Quickly spotted and resolved. Turds....

Bought this to replace the Quadlock windshield mount which kept falling off. Couldn't be happier. It pairs great with the Peak Designs ball mount MagSafe charger. Very well built, sturdy, quality components. Will be buying more from Ram mounts.

I cheaped out on a few phone holders and finally had enough with flimsy junk. Got this RAM suction mount and paired it with some other bits and wayyyyy better. Solid, doesn't come randomly unstuck, easy to use. Save the hassle, buy the real deal RAM product from the start.

Awesome product I mounted in my drove and drove like a banshee in the logging roads and didn't even budged an inch. As long as the surface is flat its gunna stick and it has ridiculous suction I can open my freezer with it

This thing does not move when attached, but comes right off when released. Would definitely buy again.
