CWR-F2 Photochromic Shield Helmet Visor Replacement for RF-1400, Z8, NXR2 Motorcycle Helmets (Clear to Smoke) (CWR-F2)

Prior to install I took it out in the direct sunlight and let it get fully dark. First time took about 2 minutes and it gets to a medium smoke tint. On its own, it wouldn't be enough for extremely bright environments in directly sunlight, but my plan was to run this visor in conjunction with dark sunglasses since I have extremely light sensitive eyes.Fit and finish is excellent. Snaps into place perfectly on my shoei rf-sr and the detents for various open positions work perfectly. It seals well when closed as well. For people wanting a "dark" visor, this isn't it. Transition material won't get as dark as a dedicated visor but this thing is very solid if you need one visor for a mix between day and night where carrying an extra visor isn't feasible.

Wish I bought this sooner for my helmet. Works great in the day for shade and night goes back to clear. Works how it’s suppose to. Would totally recommend

The visor works and fits perfectly as described with the exception of the pin lock. Using the oem eco pin lock. It did not fit this aftermarket visor. It left a rainbow in the visor but there was an easy fix if you don’t mind some arts and crafts. To fix this I cut into the pin lock membrane itself not into the visor. I added about 1 mm and then the pin lock fit perfectly into the visor. Something this manufacturer should check and update I hope. Other than that, the transition works great and it is clear. I highly recommend.

Looks and feels OEM, a little pricey, but it works! I used to lift my visors and my glasses would transition. Don't have to do that anymore and I absolutely love it! Ordered another one for my wife as it also Shields your face from heat in the hot summer months.

Lens fits helmet but does not transition in sunlight.

It doesn't fit as the stock does it is a little bit different and does not clip in. Not as easy to install as actual factory. Once you figure out the courts it seems to fit fine. It does fog up rather easy if you don't have a pin lock. The color goes from clear to light / medium tint. Good for mid-morning to getting dark. If you have to run something all day long and you know you're going to run back on the dark it is better than a fully dark tint. If you're going to have a lot of sun shining directly in your eyes it doesn't do much for that.Currently having to return one to see if this one will fit better and actually clip into the factory main clip holding the visor down. Overall value better than spending $200 for a lens you might want to throw on if you're riding dark morning midday and then change to a dark tent or mirror for midday sun in your eyes but if you have to have an all day visor from Bright to dark this could work or even a light tent shield would be okay. It's just better for dark as it does go clear there is some remnants of a light tint left over but not much. Almost goes back to completely clear longevity I have not been able to test much as I've only tested it approximately 5 to 10 times at this point with the bike down for days for changing tires, oil change, redoing brakes, getting cold etc..

The product came on time, fit great on my shoei RF-SR helmet; Tested and I loved it....

I wasn’t sure if I wanted to risk it with an off brand but it fit no problem on the helmet.The tint is perfect fir knocking down the brightness to a comfortable level. The pinlocks seem a little too tight together.It was my first time installing a pinlock so that might be part of it but I just can’t seem to get it to seal all the way around, there is a lifted gap at one of the pins that wont go down. The visor hasn’t fogged up so far though so I guess it works. Overall its worth the $90 I paid and I’ll buy it again if needed.
