Great quality!
We needed a twin to king daybed to have for guests. We have an office that also acts as a guest room so space for us is limited. This was honestly the perfect daybed for us. I was initially concerned - few/almost no reviews, large furniture piece, AND Overstock had the same product for ~$50 cheaper. I chose to order from Amazon because I knew that if I had any issues- they would resolve it via refund even if a return was a pain. Thankfully, we didn't have any issues. PROS: First, the package arrives in 2 large boxes. Both were shipped via UPS and arrived at the same time on the estimated arrival day. We inspected all the pieces of wood and honestly, the paint job was really good quality, there were only small really quite minor scrapes that are not even visible after the bed was assembled. The size of the bed listed in the description is correct. The assembly took about 3 hours to complete and does require 2 people and ample space within the room that you are trying to assemble it in. We followed the instructions in the booklet and it went fine- however they only provide EXACTLY the amount of hardware you need. No extras. So keep a close eye on all your screws/hardware. We lost one at the very end and had to use one of our own to replace it. After assembly, the bed is AMAZING. It looks beautiful, feels high quality, and is worth every penny. We almost bought the similar IKEA version but with shipping would've cost ~$600+! We also knew that if it needed to be returned we would have to drive to an IKEA Store which to us would've been way more of a hassle. We saved almost $200 using Amazon. Usage: We store 2 twin (8 inch) mattresses on top of one another in the daybed position. The frame of the bed is high enough to not look stupid, and the back is still visible for pillows and to have back support if sitting on it. The bed does sit high with both mattresses- but it works for us. If needed for kids, they may have difficulty getting on the bed. For us, having both mattresses there makes it easy for daily use (naps!) And also ready to move down for the king bed position without having to find some random place in our home to house a second mattress. The storage at the bottom is deep and spacious and great for bedding storage. As mentioned we have 2 twins and use a king sheet set in the king position. We are considering getting a king size mattress pad to help with the dip in between the two beds to make that less noticable. CONS: Now for the mechanics, on carpet- pulling the drawer to create the king is a bit difficult. There are small wheels that are installed but on carpet is pretty unhelpful. It takes a little lift upward and pulling to get it all the way out and when you're pushing back in it must be pushed straight back and takes some effort. If this bed is meant for a kid or maybe an elderly person, they will definitely need assistance getting the bed in the king position. Overall, we love the quality, look, and function of this bed. Ordering was a great experience for us and it is by far exceeded our expectations!!

Lots of work but worth it!
Perfect fit and good value. You have to put every single piece together but instructions are easy to follow. Material is sturdy and trundle slides out really well. ***We got two twin 6’ mattresses and stacked them and it was too tall to sit on so if getting mattresses to stack, make sure the height fits comfortably in frame.*** Measurements are accurate on product listing.

Very sturdy
I was afraid this bed might feel cheap and wobbly but the wood is thick and very sturdy once assembled. One problem is pulling the bed to the open position on hardwood floor. The entire bed slides, making it diffuclt to open to the full King position, but maybe putting a rug underneath would prevent it from moving. Other than that, the bed is a true king size and very comfortable.

Meh
I found the manufacturing of this bed to have a very poor design. There are so many other ways to build the parts for a much easier assembly and sturdiness. I thought I was missing a certain screw. After I received the replacement part, I realized that the manual had incorrect instructions on when to use the specific screw. Wheels to pull out the trundle part are small, very hard to pull out on a carpeted floor. Wheels should be larger. The worst part is that the piece that holds the slats together is VERY flimsy. Pushing the trundle back requires 2-3 people, depending where the slats come off. Definitely not recommending this daybed.

It's cute, paint job needs work, better assembling instructions needed for rookies like me.
Cons- - Drags on the floor when extending it out. - A piece of the wood came off in the back when screwing it in, so just be careful if using power tools. - Needs better instructions for assembling, the extension wood was not pre-drilled - I can see through the paint. White washed, not white. It looks like it came out of the box with scratches already! Pros- - It is sturdy - Does the job

Perfect for an Guest bedroom
This daybed is a beautiful and very functional piece of furniture. The solid wood construction feels strong and well-made, and the white finish looks clean and elegant in the room. It works perfectly as a sofa during the day and easily transforms into a king-size bed with the pull-out trundle, which is great for guests or sleepovers.

Very difficult to put together the correct way.
This bed is exceedingly difficult to put together. It looks great, but it takes a lot of extra effort to put it together because the bed slats do not come pre-spaced like most beds you order do, which would just be inconvenient if it weren't that the entire point of the bed is for the slats to be aligned perfectly so you can pull the front in and out. It is so difficult to do. I have built a lot of furniture ikea style and off of amazon. 9/10 times completely on my own, this was so frustrating and challenging. Additionally there were zero pre assembled parts, I am shocked with didn't have to paint it at this rate. It is pretty and a little creaky, overall esthetic wise it is a good purchase which is why I didn't give it a one star, but the heart ache of building it is substantial. I do not recommend purchasing this. I love Amazon, but this is one you should buy from ikea. I read enough to know this, but if you did, this does not come with a mattress. We already have a twin mattress, but we are planning on getting an air mattress + a mattress pad for when guests come. I cannot say enough bad things about the process of putting the bed slats together. It was truly a nightmare.
