Scale was shipped fast and packaged well. Scale was placed in plastic bag and bubble wrap with all four corners of glass protected with hard plastic slip-on corners then placed into a sturdy, cardboard box that fit scale exactly. As described, as soon as you put the batteries in (included with the scale), it's ready for you to step on and see how much you weigh. The only bad news is I now know I need to lose around 40 lbs. to be considered in the healthy range for my height and age. Along with this scale and a membership to the Y, I'm gonna succeed! Backlighting on this scale is great and makes it super-easy to read and numbers (and backlighting) stay on for a sufficient amount of time for just about anybody to read their weight after they get off the scale. I already had a tailor's measuring tape but appreciate the added gesture of including a vinyl one with purchase along with the pair of batteries. Tape measure is in inches (60) on one side and centimeters (150) on the other side and has attractive brass ends. You'd have to pull on the tape pretty hard to distort the measurements, I believe, if you're at all concerned about such. It's slightly narrower and not as heavy vinyl as my old one, but it's still nice, imo. I compared marks to my old, USA, metal ruler--very accurate. Anyway, the new tape will find a home in my purse and will come in handy when shopping. Follow directions if operation of this scale, inserting batteries, etc., isn't intuitive for you. Very slim design and much better than my old dial scale I threw out about ten years ago and never replaced--thus part of the reason the pounds crept back on over those years. I can store my new scale easily--no more ugly scale sitting out in my bathroom! Scale seems to be consistent in same readout after stepping on scale for second and third time within minutes after opening package and inserting batteries into scale. Whereas it weighed me a couple pounds heavier when I stepped on scale initially. Instructions explain this is part of the calibration. Would recommend scale and seller. If I encounter any problems with my scale, I'll edit this review. For now, I'm very pleased with my purchase--and the price was right for me, too!

Looks very nice, operates easily.

I an very happy with this simple to use, stylish bath scale. I previously purchased a bath scale with many features but I found most features glitchy to use. It got to the point I was unable to reliably weigh. When I decided I had enough with that scale, I shopped and purchased this scale. All it does is provide my weight and that is exactly what I wanted. The glass base allows our floor to be visible which I prefer.

Scale is very nice for the price and very accurate. I like that it runs on aaa battery rather than those small round ones.

Easy to set up. Works great and looks good. Great item for the price. Happy with my purchase. Powers on when you stand on it. LED light stays on for a few seconds after you get off then powers off.

Works fine and does not take up much space. It agreed with the scale at the cardiac rehab center.
