Quality
Very nice, I did think they came with hardware (swivels) to attach to gun but not a biggie, very good quality leather and not a bad price. A bit narrow but would purchase again..

Nice sling for a lever gun
Put this on a Ruger/Marlin Model 1894. Looks good with the lever gun. Quality is nice. Price was very reasonable.

It's good quality, but it needs some attention to make it great.
I got the sling for a wood stocked MAC1014. I wanted the classic look of a riot/trench gun, but with a modern Benelli gas action. This sling did the job perfecty. First off, the positives: • It's definitely leather and for $27 you're not likely to find something of any higher quality, thought there are some minor corners that have been cut for the price point. • Theres plenty of adjustment, so it will work whether you just want to shoulder the rifle or you need it to support offhand shots. • The leather thickness is just right for me, but a few people have had issues - specifically on the Mini-14 front swivel. I just measured and it's 5/32" (4.5mm) at the stitch. • The stitching is good. Nice and even. Now the bad: •It's dry. •It's really dry. You'll definitely need to pick up some neatsfoot or mink oil for about 10 bucks and give it two or three heavy applications, then wipe it clean. It will darken the leather to a chocolate brown, but it's a necessity if you want it to last. I'm probably going to reapply mink oil once a week for the next month to let it really work in, then as needed every six to twelve months. The push: • The sling keeper could be a little tighter, but it works. If you need a tighter one, they can be found for three or four bucks. • The edges aren't burnished so it looks a little unfinished. Again, it's only $27 so its to be expected. For about $15 you can get the burnishing gum/beeswax and the burnishing tool to do it yourself. • Some people have mentioned the chicago screws being of a lesser quality. I don't see an issue, but I'm also not toting my shotgun through the woods. You may want to upgrade them, or at minimum a drop of purple or blue threadlocker would make sure they don't come unscrewed at the most inopportune time. All in all it's a great value. If you're looking for perfection expect to pay 3-4 times as much (or more), or you can get the oil and burnishing tools and get there with some elbow grease for about $50.

American made. Nice soft buffalo leather with sex bolts that adjust. Added American made swivels from Detroit Leather. Looks awesome on my Retro.

Give this one some thought.. Very nice for this price!
I didn't take pictures to post but I can say I really like this sling a lot. For 25 bucks I think it's just as nice but most likely nicer than most any other sling you'll find for this price. It claims to be Buffalo leather and I'm no specialist on leather by any means but if appears to be leather. Thick and heavy, probably about an 1/8-in thick. It has a nice looking stitch running down both edges and a really attractive broke in or distressed look. Most of my description you can pick up on looking at the pictures, what you're not sure of is how it feels.. it's pliable and forgiving without being flimsy. It seems flexible and usable instead of stiff like some I've had yet it still seems substantial and heavy duty. Hope that makes some kind of sense.. lol. I personally think it begs to be on a lever gun. It's going on my Marlin 39a with skinner peep sights.. perfect match. In fact I think I'll order one for my Marlin 30-30 too. I think it's a nice sling that I like a lot. Wish I could throw'm another star just for the good value. Easily recommended.

Very well made. As good as any handmade stuff I've ever made or purchased.
Nice. I put it on a Henry lever action in 22lr. I will be getting another for a lever in .357 at some point. It'd look real good on a Marlin 1894C I'll bet.
