This is probably the best toilet paper I have bought which is important since I have used toilet tissue since the mid 1980s. It is over simple to same but it just feels good. It is thick and it absorbs; and it does that, perfectly. I am not a septic expert but I would say that it is septic safe. There's been no problems that I have heard of at my condo complex. Charmin decreasing their paper sheets per roll in the last 8 years is unpleasant. The quality of the packing materials also wavers, some rolls arrive being squished even in their own factory packaging.However, for now our family still likes the paper that cleans us best.
