We live in Montana and this is an essential! We absolutely love how heavy duty this is! We will see if it works well this hunting season

The field dressing kit paid for itself on my first deer of the season. They are very sharp and well made. I have used the boning knife to process at least 10 deer so far this hunting season. I would recommend this set, it is a good butcher set at an affordable price.

I liked everything bout what I ordered.

I was expecting another mid-low grade knife set when I went to open this set, based on the price. I was pleasantly surprised to find a much higher grade of knives inside.Pros:Handles are sturdy molded hard plastic, with a fairly grippy texture to them. This is important, take it from someone with a scar from 14 stitches in their hand from slippery knife handles. Handle size is definitely best suited for larger hands, something you don't come across in mid grade knives very often and something I appreciate as a xxl-xxxl glove wearer.Blades appear to be a decent grade of stainless and are much thicker than expected.Edges are relatively sharp, could use some fine tuning to be safer.Case provided fits everything in a fairly compact package, easy to keep in your truck or hunting locker. Latches securely.Variety of knives is a useful mix, not a bunch of impractical blades for show. Each knife is sized appropriately to be of maximum usefulness.Cons:Case is a bit thin in construction, so while pressing knives into their molded spaces, the retainer bumps can deform, which causes retention problems when the case takes a bump while in storage.The included gloves in my OPINION, are dangerous, as they increase the likelihood of slippage while using the knives for their intended purposes. I would remove them and put a pair of grippy cut resistant gloves in their place.The bevels ground on the blade edges are a bit long of an angle for a durable edge. The blades will likely require sharpening before, during and after each use. I would pair this knife set with a compact ceramic sharpener. Perhaps could be stored in the same place the included gloves are stored.Overall much nicer than expected

I bought this for my Dad for his birthday. He loves it! He used it this year hunting deer and he said it was awesome. The knives were a bit dull, but nothing a whetstone didn’t fix! Great product.

This set looks to be really nice. Not sure how durable it well be as it won't be used in till next hunting season

This is for a Christmas gift. Not for me. What I have seen I think my son is going to love it.
