Great value
I gifted this to my daughter for her baby shower and then helped her set it up in the nursery. We had no problem setting it up and using the cord covers. They stuck to the wall with a little pressure and have had no problems with them falling off. It was very easy to install and gives the new parents peace of mind while baby sleeps. Compared to the price of other items similar to this device, I feel like it is a great value for the money! The video is clear and the app works well. I would recommend this to new parents and would gift again.

Wish we switched sooner!
Upgraded our old monitor to this and I'm so glad we did. I only wish we did it sooner! Very happy with the quality of picture and the phone connectivity via the app. The app includes sleep tracking and predictive wake windows which has been super helpful to keep my husband and I on the same page as we sleep train our 6 month old. Very very happy with the camera. The cry detection/movements/room temperature etc everything is fantastic. Setup was a breeze!

Disconnects Constantly. Unreliable.
The camera constantly disconnects and stops working (almost every other hour or 40% of the time I try to use it)... Sometimes it stops working on my phone (and says the camera is disconnected from wifi) but my partners phone will show the video with no issue. Seems very finicky. There is also a noticable lag and it ONLY supports 2.4 GHz wifi. At this point most people have 5 GHz wifi so you will run into issues connecting this to your wifi unless you know how to configure your network to 2.4 GHz. Also, the camera has the super bright blue light that illuminates the room and might degrade sleep quality. Lastly, at this price point, you can't even move the camera around remotely so it's lacking features that other cameras have.

Be your child’s Big Brother.
This is a great tool for parents to keep an eye (and ear) on their precious ones. I highly recommend it. The way it calculates room temperature and humidity has come in VERY handy. There are notifications for cry detection that can be overwhelming because it picks up on EVERY sound, but those can be turned off.

Excellent
• High-quality video: Streams HD (1080p) video over WiFi, with many users noting clear daytime and night-vision images. • Extra useful features: 4× zoom, room temperature & humidity sensors, and notifications for sound or movement. • App-based monitoring: Easy to set up for most users—view your baby’s room remotely from your smartphone. • Remote access: Great for parents who want to check in on their baby while at work or away from home.

Constant Wifi Connectivity Issues
I cant stress how disappointing this camera is. We originally got it as part of the camera/sock package, and the sock did work just fine, but the camera had constant internet connection issues from the moment we set it up. After only a few hours, it would lose connection again, requiring us to disconnect it from power and reboot it. This went on repeatedly for several weeks before the camera ultimately stopped working completely. Customer service was also an unpleasant experience, as we had to repeatedly call/email them in an attempt to get a replacement camera. It took about a month of back and forth before a replacement finally came. Unfortunately, the 2nd camera worked no better, and could not stay connected to wifi. We were told our router was too far away (it is in the adjacent room), but just to cover all of our bases we went and got a range extender and set up a 2Gh network in our nursery that only this camera would be connected to. Despite the "excellent" connection status, this camera still would regularly lose connection as well. We decided to give it one more go, and rather than have to deal with customer service again we just went ahead and bought a replacement. And guess what? Exact same issues. There is clearly a defect in this product, as others have reported a similar issue. Would not recommend this to anyone.

I love it
I love it for watching my twins. I like that I can see the room temperature, and it also sends me notifications when they're crying or moving. And the app is free.

The Owlet Cam: Because new moms clearly don’t have enough stress already.
There is a special place in tech hell for devices like the Owlet Cam — products so needlessly complicated, that they transform a simple task into a full-blown existential crisis. All I wanted was to see my baby sleep. Instead, I spent 45 minutes crouched on the floor, cycling between the app, my router, and my increasingly fragile will to live. The camera refused to connect to 5GHz Wi-Fi — apparently, the standard frequency of modern civilization was a bridge too far. I even had to pull out my laptop, log into my Wi-Fi provider’s account, and manually split the network to 2.4GHz like I was performing open-heart surgery on my own internet. ?! What does 2.4GHz even mean?! And after all that? Nothing. Not a single frame. Just a blinking light and the faint sound of my own sanity evaporating. No new mom should have to moonlight as a network engineer while a “smart” baby monitor refuses to acknowledge her existence. The Owlet Cam is the dumbest baby monitor on the market. It doesn’t deliver peace of mind — it demands it as a sacrifice. Final verdict: It never connected. Not once. Save your money, your time, your sanity - buy the Nanit.

Works well most of the time but does disconnect from wifi occasionally which is very frustrating as it doesn't always reconnect easily. Video and sound quality is very good though.

Really poor connection. Not usable. Don't waste your money.

Most disappointing buy for my baby! 3-5 second lag in the video output and the features being offered are quite basic for the fact the video goes back to server for processing.

Part of pairing this camera to a network is to slowly move your phone back and forth displaying a QR code to the owlet as it attempts to scan it. This process takes several attempts and upwards of 60 minutes. Plan to move your phone back and forth perfectly straight and slow hundreds and hundreds of times. I made the mistake of bringing this on vacation. I’m on my forth day here and still haven’t been able to pair this absolute garbage camera to the new network. Why the devs chose to utilize a QR code instead of just regular Bluetooth is absolutely baffling. Worst piece of equipment I’ve ever had the displeasure of using.
