They secure my slippery hair in a whimsy, pretty way!
Note, these minis work together. I use both to reliably hold my hair. They hide well, if you don't want them seen. They can also peek out subtly. Love them!I also bought the full size, and need only one to do the trick, but you can see it sticking out. I don't mind because it is stylish and decorative. But with the minis, I have the option of hiding them.Overall a quality brand. Durable metal and the color does not fade or peel. It works surprisingly well on my straight, slippery hair.

Cute and purse-friendly.
Very cute and small but they work even on my long hair.

Just a little too large
I wish these were one inch shorter, they’re so long they reach from the top of my head all the way to the hairline on my neck. It makes them slightly uncomfortable as I either have to use them sideways, have them stick out a bit, or feel them poke my neck every once in a while. Design and style is beautiful and they’ve held up well to use, just needs to be slightly smaller

Love these hair pins!
Absolutely love these hair pins. I just bought the short set because I thought I lost the long set I have had for years. The short set is nice for buns because you don’t have any pin sticking out the bottom but I think the long set gives a little better hold (like I could sleep in them and wear the next day). Very comfortable, curved to the head so nothing big and bulky when you rest your head on a headrest etc. It takes an average looking bun with a claw clip and turns it into something much more elegant in seconds. They’re so easy to use and my long set has held up perfectly for years with no metal discoloration or bending. Hopefully the short set holds up as well! Photo is of the long set with waist length hair.

Highly recommended
I have a soft straight thin hair, it looks good but when it comes to accessories I have issues, at first it was hard to work with, with my hair type, but I learned how to use it, i watched at least 1 hour youtube to learn, now i am using it all the time, i like it better than crunchy or other types of accessories, it doesn’t put pressure on my hair, it is mostly useful when you are home and want to be comfortable and not have any hair around your face and neck.

Nice but too long and doesn't work on fine hair
Based on other reviews I thought this would work for my long, straight, fine hair but nope...not matter how I twist and insert, it slides right out. Also, it's quite long so if you don't have a lot of hair to put up in a big bun (I don't have thin hair, but I also don't have a heap of it), it just ends up poking out and poking your head. The quality is great, though, and it's attractive. I'll pass these on to a friend.

Fuzzy and useful
These are more elegant than pencils and hold buns well. Well finished, smooth, shiny and strong gold-colored metal. Just as pictured. For my fine long hair I prefer the smaller Kristin Ess metal pins inserted sideways in a french twist. But if you have a lot of thick, maybe curly hair, just one of these pretty pins would probably work for you.

Easy to use
I've used these hairpins consistently for months now. I don't remember now where I first saw them but I was definitely influenced by someone to try these. So glad because they create a french like twist that stays all day and looks effortless (because it practically is) sleek and sophisticated. I would usually use a claw clip but everything was uncomfortable as it sticks out so far. Driving i'd have to take it down so i could rest my head, flying, again take it down. Sit on the couch to watch tv, take it down. Ugh! This french pin sits flat against my head and is so comfortable I can't even feel it. I can even wear a hat with it. A matte black or gold are the metals that I have used and they look great with everything. I have shoulder length hair and they work perfectly. With longer hair there would be no issue. Your hair just needs to be long enough to create a sort of twist to put the pin through. Something so simple yet it makes me feel put together in a way I didn't before.
