I read some another reviews, first one this product is excellent for people with experience in decoration, if you are not experience you need practice to obtain a good results.. the problem is not the disk set is you!The acrylic scraper come with plastic protection, you need to eliminate this plastic protector previously to use the scrapers…. Nu wife are extremely happy with this product!

These were used by a family member who is a professional baker. She let us know that they seemed solid and reasonably useful for non commercial products. She felt that the dowel rods could be a bit longer but it depended on the cake you were making so that's not really a knock on the product.The discs seemed sturdy and held up well when she used them. She didn't try the icing spreader but the fact that they have four styles was a plus. She found the grip a bit uncomfortable, however.

These are great for multi-tiered cakes for stacking or just one cake! The bases can be used in place of a regular cardboard disposable cake circle, so that alone makes these worth the purchase. Plus you get a variety of sizes that are the most common for tiered and single layer cakes.They designed the bases so that they will extend a little further out than the actual cake (if baking in a standard 6", 8", or 10" pan) so that you can easily handle the cakes and decorate them on a turn table.The addition of the cake combs is a plus as well, and I consider it an extra to this set of cake bases with premade dowel holes.There's also an advantage to using the plastic/acrylic dowels included in this set instead of a standard wooden one, so you don't have to worry sanding down your wooden dowel down or worse, getting a stray splinter in the cake!For the price point, this set is an absolute great deal. I highly recommend it even for a casual cake baker!

I gave it three stars because the scrapers and dowel rods are really good. The discs are a pain in the @$$. I’ll use them for accurately cutting holes in the very center of Cake Boards, but probably nothing else. I should’ve got a larger selection of scrapers instead and left the discs at Amazon.

This set of cake disks, comb scrapers, and dowel rods are exactly as described. They appear to be made of sturdy materials that should hold up to years of use with proper care. Be aware that a protective plastic film came on many of the pieces, so make sure to remove it before washing and using them.

Work fine, just thought they would be the clear hard acrylic. These are plastic and scratch easily.

In the Pictures they show a thicker version of discs but what i received is very thin and flimsy!! will not recommend these discs from this seller.

Mejor de lo que esperaba, me encanta como queda el acabado de mis pasteles . Excelente producto lo recomiendo ampliamente
