Great Controller - Totally Worth It!
I started with a slightly cheaper controller but quickly found it lacking in channels, quality, and flexibility. After switching to the Radiomaster TX16S, I can honestly say it's a huge upgrade. I was initially hesitant due to the higher cost, but it turned out to be totally worth it. The TX16S feels great in hand, looks professional, and setting it up was surprisingly easy thanks to plenty of clear tutorials online. The flexibility to customize every button and setting is exactly what I needed, making it perfect for current and future projects. I got the ELRS version and haven't had any connection problems at all. It also came with some nice extras—a sturdy carrying case, low-profile grips, a screen protector, and springs to auto-center the joysticks. Plus, being able to use a 2S LiPo battery directly is super convenient. I'm mostly using this controller with RC robotics projects. This with a RP3 Receiver and a ESP32 have been an awesome combination, and I'm sure I will be super happy with this controller for any other projects that I come up with. If you're debating spending a bit more for this controller, I'd highly recommend going for it. You won't regret it!

Kinda steep learning curve but worth it ...
Lots to learn with this radio but the versatility is almost limitless. Can be configured for just about any model aircraft you would ever fly. True ... you do need to spend some time learning how to set it up but the information you need is all on you tube videos and easy to access. I do recommend this radio transmitter.

TX16s- Not all that
OK, I know this is the darling of EdgeTX devices but..... eff this thing. First I noticed that the throttle wouldn't stay put. Uhg. So.... I started messing with the adjustment screws with an allen wrench that seemed to fit snugly. Well... When I consulted the online manual I found that is not where you do that. I don't even think the manual said how to. You have to open it thus voiding your warranty. Fine. But before that I tried to return those screws. When turning two of them the other way they were so hard to turn they stripped the allen socket, AAARG!!! I had to take the gimbal out then. After figuring out what they were, I think M.8, I ordered some. When they arrived I had to cut them to size. I got them in after farting around with a floating part for one of them for longer than I would have liked. To set the throttle ratchet I had to crank it down much further than one would think but OK. Now my throttle range is -10%. I haven't fixed that yet, not looking forward. Next when I inserted my Crossfire module I didn't notice both sides didn't click. It fell out, nice. This did not happen even once on my Taranis. So.. I tried pulling the tab out on my module gently, that did not work. Then a little less gently nope, a little less and it broke. Good grief, I used ca and accelerant to fix and viola it clicked in when pressed firmly. Now I cant remove it. Edge TX. There is an annoyingly steep learning curve. What's all this emphasis on links? I only have 8 models. Setting up telemetry is annoyingly difficult and the OPENtx upgrade procedure of course would not migrate my sound files and switch sound mappings not to mention telemetry screens. So they emphasize links and removed half the sound files to avoid scrolling, sigh..... This thing has a roller on it! Utilize that without fixing problems that don't exist! If it didn't try to fix problems that don't exist and in doing so creating more this thing would be awesome. Same with EdgeTX. Don't listen to Youtubers tout free stuff either.

Total scam
Broken attenia, fried battery as soon as plugged in…eventually threw it away.
