This was the perfect size for patio. Assembly was not complex-takes about 1.5 hours with one person. Will need extra set of hands to hold straight for last part of assembling gliding part. This item is sturdy to sit upon and has a smooth glide. Fabric cleans great! Add stylish patio pillows to enhance. Well worth the price.

Great glider! I sit on my porch everyday now. Looks fabulous and is very high quality & durable. It was a big project to put together (think standard assembly not IKEA) and it squeaks but that was easily fixed with some silicone spray. Also, note that it seats 2 regular adults only— there is a bar down the middle that’s uncomfortable to sit on. Overall very happy for what I got for the price paid.

Giantex Patio Glider is good for the price, once you put it together. When this was delivered, I was anxious due to the previous reviews. This glider is very light-weight and I was able to build everything accept attaching the "D Rods" (base rods). One thing I did not like is the packaging of the screws, nuts and caps. Normally, you find that each size of bolt, nut, etc. is in its own compartment. This way they do not get mixed up making it more difficult to find the correct item. Unfortunately, the glider has all in one compartment with the corresponding label on top of the item. Therefore, once you cut it open and begin to take what you need the other contents shift. Once the contents shift it is no longer under its label. Another thing is, the manufacturer gives you the exact number of each item needed. Some manufacturers give you extra screws, so make sure you don't lose any part. The manual is just illustrations, but it is easy to understand. Everything fit well until I got to the "D rods" (base rods). I've read other reviews stating they are too short. I do agree they are a bit longer than needed making it difficult to screw in each side. I made several attempts squeezing the bars together to get enough of the bolt out the hole to screw the nut on. After I asked my husband for help, we managed to connect both sides and I began tightening the bolt. The D rod bent a little bit once tightened, but did not affect the performance. Once the glider is completed it is very nice with a pretty high back support. I'm 5' 8" and the back support comes up to my shoulders. You can adjust the ease of gliding by tightening or loosening the D rod bolts too. Overall, this glider is the same quality as some Walmart brands. It makes me think of Mainstays or Better Homes and Gardens, both brands I've had similar difficulties with. Although I had trouble assembling, I do like the glider's style and easy transition, back and forth. This was a present for my Mother-in-law and she loves sitting on her back patio with it. This bench is a great buy so nice and comfy to sit on! Easy to put together and glides so smooth no noise while rocking. The only drawback is the black plastic caps that go over the screws tend to pop off. In order to keep them on I will have to put glue on them, otherwise they can get lost if you are not aware that any came off. Just be sure that the screws are tight before gluing the caps. I will still give this bench a 5 star rating because it is that nice aside from as I stated the caps coming off!!

I am so glad I bought this chair! ($75) I purchased this to go outside on my porch and was able to put it together by myself (110lb female). It is comfortable and sturdy enough to sit myself and my husband (about 320lbs altogether). It is squeaky when it rocks, but with a little grease it it should be fine. The only drawback is it is a little uncomfortable to sit right in the middle as there is a metal bar there, meaning when my small children want to sit with me someone has to sit in a slightly uncomfortable seat. Not a huge deal. Update: after two full years in the Arizona sun, the front part of the seat ripped around the metal bar and the color has faded making it look a little shabby. It still sits well and is still very study. My kids (and the neighbourhood kids) still use it multiple times a day. In all, I am very glad I purchased this little gliding seat, it has seen a lot of use!
