Toyota Touch Up Paint 1G3 Magnetic Gray Metallic Genuine Scion/Lexus

This touch up paint is the same one you’ll buy at your local dealership so it’s a perfect match for your Toyota vehicle. I used this on my 2018 Toyota Tundra Platinum and it matches near perfect. The paint arrived quickly after ordering. It has two different ways of applying the paint - one with a very tiny roller ball and one is with a small brush. Overall, it dries quickly and works quite well.

I used this touch up paint on my 2019 Toyota Tacoma due to a small chip in the paint on my door panel. I'm not sure why other people on here are having color match options but this worked perfectly on my Magnetic Grey Metallic paint color on my Tacoma. I highly recommend starting with the smallest amount of paint as possible and then going from there. You can use the brush inside the tube or the spring loaded fine tip to apply. I've added a couple pictures to help show the difference. Note I intended on using this paint to simply "seal" up the exposed sheet metal on my truck. I scratched away the loose paint with my fingers and then applied it. It's pretty tough to get a nice smooth finish with this paint but you can use the felt piece on the cap to try and clean it up a little. If you take your time with sanding, buffing and clear coating I'm sure you could have a better end result than what I have. A few weeks have gone by and the paint is holding up well even through a car wash. You can see a small dimple on the door panel but at least it is sealed up and matches the color of the truck.

Used this for my '23 Tacoma MGM and I can say its about a 95% match. Not quite a perfect match as you can tell up close but far away, you couldn't tell. Make sure you shake it up real good too as it seems that will get the paint mixed up. It goes on and dries easily.

Goes on a bit dark but dries lighter. Blends in well when dry. This is TOUCH UP paint! It's meant for TINY nicks, bumps, pits, abrasions, etc. It is NOT for big body work! As a touch up paint it's perfect. Get a can of dealer paint if you need to do more than a spot.

For a large company like Toyota, its customer service is terrible. I bought this touch-up paint that claims to be Toyota Touch Up Paint 1G3 Magnetic Gray Metallic Genuine Scion/Lexus. It is silver, bright silver. When I contacted them to rectify the issue, they asked me to send them pics of the bottle. I did that and also sent pics of the paint on my Tundra, which. clearly shows it's silver, not grey. After that point, I only received automated messages from them here on Amazon that told me to file an A-Z claim. Then, to make matters worse, Amazon denied the claim, I filed an appeal, and it was also denied. What a joke. Don't buy from Toyota of Miami. Scam! I wish I could give them no Stars, they don't deserve the 1 they got, but the was the minimum I had to pick.

Color does not match my 2023 Tacoma. The paint quality is good and is easy to use.

My car is magnetic gray (IG3) and this touch up paint matches perfectly. I have some spots on the passenger side where small rocks in the shoulder will fly up and chip the paint on the door panels, and this pen did a good job covering up those small areas. Obviously doesn't look perfect, but I just wanted something to cover the spots so that rust doesn't develop. The cap on the pen has an angled stiff applicator, maybe for cleaning up borders (?). I didn't use the spot applicator but used the brush instead (unscrew the black part). Can use a finer brush if you want more precise control when applying.

Perfect color match.

Like other reviews the paint will come out incorrectly out of the pen end. Comes out like a gloss silver. Shake it lots and apply very small amounts with the brush end. Works perfect everytime.

Did not meet my expectation because my car color was silver gray and there is much difference between metallic grey and silver gray metallic is much darker than silver I even sent message to the dealer if they have a silver gray but I was told they don't have and I couldn't return the product when I tried I was told I cannot return flammable products so my 49.99 has gone waste.
