This rather odd-shaped rack is perfect for the top of a toaster oven. The size is just right. The top of our oven gets extremely hot. This is not only a visual warning, it makes the oven top useful. Add a pretty kitchen towel on top and it's even better.

Expandability is a great convenience. Surprising light hollow material. Not the solid metal I imagined.

This trivet works well for all regular length and smaller size baking dishes. When fully extended it should accommodate cookie sheets and most long baking pans quite easily, but I would not use it for a large turkey pan. Both extended and closed it has good venting underneath allowing for air circulation, and holds the pot high enough so it should not burn whatever is underneath. It appears well made, slides easily, and sits well on the counter, not rocking or tilting to one side or the other. It is not heavy in weight, but I would trust it to hold heavy cast iron pots or dutch ovens. Altogether I am pleased with it and the fact that it can easily replace multiple size trivets is a plus whenever storage or kitchen space is limited.

It's all hollow and when it get's too hot, the lube on the inside will gum up.DO NOT USE IT ON A FIREPLACE / STOVE !

I like the design but the quality is questionable. After 3 days of using this item, a cap piece fell off from one of the ends. It didn't snap back into place so it appears that I may have to glue it.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter and her husband to protect their new countertops and their lovely antique rustic Mexican wood dining table. I don't have to ask how they like their trivet because every time I visit they are using it while cooking and then they move it to the table to use while we eat. I hear the compliments they get from their guests and know it is the kind of quality we expect when we buy Pro Chef products. Next...I need to order one for her sister! ♥

As you can imagine these are good for longer oval or rectangular dishes. Since metal heats up pretty quickly I will still use my cork trivets under it if my pan is extremely hot.

Works great for intended purpose and matches my flatware. Not a bad value
