⭐ Overview The Bissell Little Green Pet Deluxe is a compact, handheld “spot cleaner” designed for tackling small wet/dry messes—especially pet-related stains—on upholstery, carpets, car interiors, and stairs. According to the manufacturer, it includes tools like a 3” Tough Stain Tool, a Stain Trapper Tool, and a HydroRinse self-cleaning hose attachment. ⸻ ✅ Pros (What Works Well) 1. Effective on Spot Stains Users and independent reviews often testify that it does a good job removing fresh spills, pet stains, or tracked-in dirt. For example, Good Morning America noted that after some scrubbing, the machine lifted ketchup and dirt stains on rugs and upholstery. 2. Portable & Easy to Maneuver Its size and design make it convenient to carry around, go up stairs, and reach small or awkward areas. Many people like that it’s not as bulky as full-size carpet cleaners. 3. Useful Accessories • The Stain Trapper Tool is a smart add-on: it collects the messy liquid messes separately, letting you dispose of them without contaminating the main tank. • The HydroRinse hose cleaning tool helps flush out the hose after use, reducing the chance of mildew or odor buildup. 4. Good Suction & Spray for Spot Tasks It offers decent suction power for a unit of this size and sprays cleaning solution while vacuuming, making it a “spray-scrub-suction” tool. 5. Affordable as a Supplementary Cleaner It’s not meant to replace deep-cleaning systems, but for spot jobs, it offers a cost-effective option. ⸻ ⚠️ Cons & Limitations (What to Watch Out For) 1. Limited Tank / Volume Because it’s compact, you’ll often find yourself refilling or emptying the tank during more extensive tasks. This is fine for small jobs but not ideal if you’re cleaning large areas. 2. Drying Time Required Surfaces will get wet in the process, so you’ll need to allow time for them to dry. For thick fabrics or deep carpets, drying can be slow. 3. Hair Clogging & Maintenance Users with pets report the brush heads and suction paths can clog with fur, necessitating cleaning after every use to maintain performance. 4. Short Hose & Awkward Parts Some users on forums criticize the hose as being too short, making it cumbersome in certain contexts. Also, some parts (like the round reservoirs) may make it awkward to fill or stand upright during setup. > “You can’t put it down to fill the water reservoir. And the hose is too short … Always opt for parts that you don’t need two hands to make stand up on their own.” 5. Not a Replacement for Deep Cleaners It’s designed for spot jobs. Set-in stains, deeply soiled carpets, or full-room cleans may outperform its capabilities. Many reviewers still recommend a full-size or professional system for serious jobs. ⸻ 🧾 Overall Verdict If your goal is spot cleaning, especially for pet messes on upholstery, stairs, or car seats, the Bissell Little Green Pet Deluxe is a solid tool. It’s not perfect, but in its niche, it performs well: • It’s a great “emergency / between deep-cleans” option. • It handles common stains, pet accidents, and small spills with reasonable efficiency. • It’s compact and relatively easy to store. Just be aware of its limitations: small tank size, need for maintenance (especially with pet hair), and drying time. If you frequently clean large carpets or want a deeper full-room clean, you’ll still need a more powerful unit.

I'm not sure what I was expecting... maybe a miracle. Did not get the old stains out of the carpet, granted these were already months old and previous attempts were already made at it. The vacuum was not as easy to use as I thought it would be. It was bulky and cumbersome to hold and tote around. The tubing kept coming off the base as I moved it around the house for storage. Setting up the tank for use, once filled with warm solution, did not seal fully/sprayed out as I turned it over to place it in the base. I suspect this isn't an issue if you use plain room temperature water. The clean solution tank did not leak once it was fixed to the base, but yea, you won't want to do that prep just anywhere. The vacuum suction itself seemed adequate but not super powerful... I did have a wet spot on my carpet and I did end up just putting a fan over it for a few hours. To pick up any stains (or liquid) you have to move the handheld attachment and move it over VERY SLOWLY. Afterwards, cleaning the machine seems pretty easy on first use, however, I don't like having to figure out where to store the attachments. That said the build quality on the machine seems to be BISSELL good. Four stars because it does vacuum and spray and do all the things, 1 star removed for having to manage bulky attachments separately (no storage solution), leaking a bit during setup (following warm water instructions) and not performing the stain removal. :P
