Quality Product
The first delivery came, and the box had been crushed by the carrier. The center portion of the fixture was bent. On the positive side we sent the fixture back and they replaced it with an undamaged fixture in about three days. The return was free. The fixture was well made, and the decor was what we expected. Assembly and installation were easy enough for people that are handy. Each of the eight arms required being bolted in place. The 16 lamp conductors and the two supply line conductors all had to be wire nutted together in the base of the fixture. This could be a little tedious for people who have never done this before, but it is not too difficult. The chain had to be installed and the supply line conductor fed through the chain links to the ceiling plate. This was simple enough but turned out to be the most aggravating part. The chain wanted to slip down the cord while installing the fixture. There was likely a trick that I did not know about to prevent this. The hardware fitted well in the metal box in the ceiling. Everything required for the install was included.

No indication of CSA approval
It does looks very nice once up, but you can tell while putting this together it is very cheaply made. The wire gauge is almost non existent, and there is no ground wire running to the fixture. No stamp of CSA approval. A bit tedious to install, really need to tighten down the arms to keep them from moving around. Better have some fine wire strippers and get better quality screws and wire nuts handy. I ran my own ground, but I will never leave this light on unattended.
