Works Great
I have this mounted on a Monstrum Banshee 1-6x24. The mounted RMR red dot I'm using sits perfect above the elevation turret with an adapter plate.

No more taped light on my rifle.
Just what I needed for my 17 HMR. This allows me to add a light right above the scope. I tried a side mount after adding a pic rail but it stuck out too far. This is perfect!

Solid rings, picatinny mount needed tightening out of the box
I would give this product a perfect score but unfortunately I can't. I decided to use this on-top of a scope I had for a .308 build I have been working on. I used a budget GDS and zero'd it at roughly 50 yds since the scope I was using wouldn't perfectly sit on the crosshair for anything less than 100yds. After having zero'd everything I went to turn the GDS off and noticed it was wobbling considerably. Took me a minute to trouble shoot but eventually discovered the picatinny mount for the rings wasn't tightened properly and walked loose after only 4 shots from a .308. What was even more annoying was there was no included allen wrench hardware to loosen/tighten the picatinny mount, just the rings to the host scope. I had no choice but to remove the piggyback mount and fix it when I got home. The fix was simple and some blue loctite ensures it won't walk loose again but it was a big inconvenience at the time of shooting on the range. 4/5, make sure you check your screws holding down the picatinny mount before ever mounting it to a scope!

Broke in half
So the mount has a few big issues, first it’s ring diameter is just a tad too small and may crush your scope if not careful. But the other huge issues that had rendered the item useless is the junction on the top ring where the 2 screws hold the section of picatiny on top, well it completely snapped in half from 20 lb/in on the 2 screws. This is nothing in regards to torque, whatever aluminum this is if it even is it could be zinc, is terrible. And you have to torque the pic rail I tried it lightly hand tight and it wobbled once ring was torqued, so I tried 10 lb/in, then 15, and at 20 it just broke right in the middle along the 2 holes. 20 lbs/in is nothing, I’m not even gonna bother returning, I am trying jbwelding the two pieces together to the rail with screws in and I have more faith in the job weld holding than the original product. 20 dollars I can chalk up to science for the masses. I’m gonna buy a trijicon mount instead. The picture is after I’ve applied jb weld

loose rail, needs more loctite
Build quality seems ok so far, however, after mounting a Holosun red dot and taking it to the range, I soon found that the red dot was loose. It was the rail on the top ring half. The rail is mounted via two screws and they had backed out due to the recoil. There was a tiny amount of loctite on the screws, but it wasn't enough to hold the screws in. I have since applied more loctite, but haven't had enough time to go to the range again. Hopefully the loctite solves the issue.

looks ok.
nothing wrong with the ring ,i was hopeing i could use the top on the monstrum slim profile series offset cantilever picatinny scope mount. The holes were a little off like half a screw. Its a shame they didn't make the holes an screws to inter change on them 1 inch rings. But im useing the slim profile series anyway.BE nice if they would change to match an send me one lol.rings is a ok

SOLID PRODUCT
Used the product to mount a light/laser sight on a tactical shotgun. The product arrived quickly. Well packaged. The product is well designed and built. Substantial bulk to handle it's intended use without failing. Nicely contoured-edges have been rounded. Looks impressive. Well finished. Only time can tell, but as an engineer and a metalworker, I expect this to last forever.
