Came out as advertised and not very difficult to do
Like people say use a lot of masking tape to protect the area while you are shaping it just right until it sits all around perfect, when I was ready I made a perfect outline so glue wouldn't get all over and touched it up with some marine grade glue around the edges. I removed my front roller and made a contraption out of wood and foam to put pressure on it and let it dry a few days and it feels is not going anywhere now, will try it soon on the water. I only had some fine scratches before from the boat sliding down from the roller so I don't expect that I will be hitting it hard loading up the boat. The glue it came with was plenty, if you shaped the shield perfectly to the boat some will actually sip out the edges and I had to wipe it away. Really pay attention to the instructions how to apply it, specially the part about leaving the protective plastic on until you are done and distance from the edge when applying the glue.

After that it seems to be holding up just fine and no longer is showing any sign of pulling ...
I installed this on a Nautic Bay 1910 bay boat and I followed the instructions to the letter. But the sealant just would not cure even though temperatures reached into the 80 during the time of installation here in Texas. It remained sticky and tacky for over two weeks and the first time I launched the boat it tried to pull away from the boat in a couple of places. The only way I could get it to cure was by wiping around the edges with alcohol and then running a fresh bead of 3M marine grade silicone sealant (08017) around the edges. After that it seems to be holding up just fine and no longer is showing any sign of pulling away from the boat. It does a great job of protecting the bow from my winch roller and strap/bow hook damage when loading or unloading the boat.

Works as designed with some help.
Works as designed, but a little tricky to install. Despite spending a lot of effort trying to match bend to the bow curvature, still had some gaps that caused issues later. Attached as specified, but when bow lowered back on to roller, plate distorted causing a gap in one corner. Tape and clamps were not strong enough to overcome this or allow viewing of problem area. Would not have been a real problem if I had more adhesive, but the supplied squeeze pack was no longer usable after 24 hours. Had to order a tube of 3M 5200FC (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003E1ULRE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)to finish the job. Would be better if BowShield still supplied its adhesive in a resealable tube, for touch ups.TBD if this method of attachment is superior to the mounting tape version that lasted 10+years before it fell off.

This is the worst product I could possible buy
This is the worst product I could possible buy. Extremely messy. It cannot be shaped to the bow contour The amount of glue is miserable. Then you spread it as much as possible and the glue film is so thin that there are parts of the shield not even touching the bow.I was expecting a better quality.

Looks good and its performing as intended
Have had it on the boat for about 10 months now... No problems... Bent it myself and glued it myself. I used some tie downs and blocking to ensure that while the glue was drying there was pressure on the surfaces. Looks good and its performing as intended.

Good product. Bad description
Good product just small when they say small they mean it to small for a 19ft Triton bass boat that has a long skinny nose. There's not much description on how big the medium is. I personally thought when I bought this the size was based on the size of your boat, for a big boat or for a small boat. With that being said if u got a bass boat get the biggest one u can get. Because it's not but half the size of my trailer roller so not much help on keeping my boat from getting scratched by loading it. But it does seam to be well made

Great Eye candy bad overall
Amazon did their part in getting this product to me. Put it on the bow of my 31'. First time out traveling I noticed in the rear view mirror of the truck the guard hanging just barely attached. Never saw water before product adhesion failure. I'm an engineer by trade and work extensively with adhesives and metals. I repair and maintain my gel coat/fiberglass hull personally. In doing so I use resins and mixed epoxy. Had to give this an overall fail. Product looks shinny and well cut to design, hence the two star rating. In the end the product has to stay in place to do its intended job. Very sad, again because the product looks so damn good. UPDATE: sick of looking at a complete waste of money sitting on the shop bench to a side I completely cleared the guard back of all material. Brushed 3M primer 94 on the back of the guard and the hull to guard design layout. Placed 3M marine grade/water proof VHB (cut out guard design to exact shape from a custom 12"x12" VHB sheet) to the back of the guard. Stuck the whole thing to the bow keel. Separated on its own from the yacht yet again. Problem isolated, the guard flexed way too much for this kind of application. Ripples in the guard can be seen very noticeably.
