Finally a Retina level display for PC that doesn't cost Apple prices
Been using this display for work and its amazing in terms of clarity and size. This display makes it so much easier on the eyes compared to a 1080p display. I have so much more room to work now as well. It used to cost $1000 just to get a display for PC by itself that had this level of sharpness. This display is also really portable for me since I do a lot of moving around for work.Nice pluses is that this display has speakers and a headphone jack in case the ones on the laptop break. Plus the case helps protect the screen and acts as a stand. I'd recommend using the VESA mounts however if you have sort of a wobbly desk. One thing to keep in mind is that this is a 4K display. That means to get the whole 4K experience, you need to have a newer laptop that either has USB-C or a newer HDMI port. I was able to get the display to run at 4K and 60 Hz because my laptop has a USB-C port. Using the HDMI port dropped it to 30 Hz since I don't have the newer HDMI ports.Tested it out on gaming and it worked great! Frames were as steady as the 4K display my laptop has. Didn't notice as input lag either.Brightness is about as good as my current ASUS laptop. If its really sunny area, it might get a little harder to see. The speakers get pretty loud, when turned up, so its def nice when using a thin laptop that has weaker speakers. Overall, this is a great display for the price for anyone looking for a super sharp display that is also portable.

Now I can take my work-from home setup anywhere!
I have been considering an external monitor for some time now. I bought a DragonTouch digital frame for someone as a Christmas present that I had to setup which was super easy and the picture quality is great. When I saw they had an external monitor, I decided to give it a try. I have a dual monitor setup at home for work and I always found it frustrating when I had to work with my laptop outside of the home without a 2nd screen and this monitor solves that problem. It is light enough to carry around with my laptop and also a nice size that it is still effective. I have only used the monitor with my laptop. Setup couldn't be easier. It's plug and play with either USB-C or HDMI, both of which my laptop has. It comes with a wall adaptor, 2 USB-C cables (1 for power supply and 1 for data connection), and 1 HDMI cable if your source does not have USB-C. The picture quality is great and indeed 4K. The monitor also includes a slim, magnetic cover that also serves as the stand. I definitely would recommend the monitor and am happy with my purchase. Some areas of improvement for me would be to (1) include 1 longer USB-C cable for use with the power supply so that the customer does not have to buy another one. The included cables require you to be seated directly next to a wall outlet. (2) The monitor is not truly 100% portable because it needs to be plugged in if you want the brightness all the way up with a laptop. An external battery would be nice. (3) The cover/stand is a little cumbersome if you want to setup next to the laptop screen at the same viewing angle and pointed at the user because of the large footprint the cover/stand takes on the table top. I would prefer a stand that folds out from the back similar to a picture-frame stand so that it is out of the way.

Decent value but a few flaws keeping it from true excellence
Pros:• Very good picture quality, especially for the price• Works well with various devices, as long as you use the included power adapter• Is about as portable as you can expect a 15" monitor to be• Supports HDMI (via Mini HDMI port, or USB-C connector that supports HDMI alt mode)Cons:• Built-in speakers aren't nearly loud enough• Magnetic attachment to folding stand is far too weak• Forgets image settings when disconnected from power• Feels a bit flimsy for a portable productI bought this monitor primarily to use with my Nintendo Switch for extended gaming sessions when I'm not near my TV, but also to use as an occasional secondary monitor with a laptop. It works pretty well for that. The image quality is a substantial improvement over the Switch's built-in screen. The upscaling from 1080p to 4K isn't as sharp as it could be, but is on par with inexpensive 4K TVs. However, when connected to a Switch, the monitor's speakers will be used instead of the Switch speakers. That wouldn't be a problem if the monitor's speakers weren't very weak. With the volume set to maximum, audio is intelligible in a quiet room; if you have a loud air conditioner, you may need external speakers or headphones. When used with a Mac, the display is crisp and very usable. It's not as good as the Retina Display on a MacBook, but it's as good as any other standard third-party LCD monitor I've used. You'll need a dock to use the Switch with this monitor; that's Nintendo's fault for not fully supporting USB-C. The monitor has a Mini HDMI input and comes with an adapter cable for HDMI. While Mini HDMI is a standard, it's not common, so don't lose the cable or you may have trouble sourcing a replacement quickly. As others have noted, the included folding cover/stand attaches magnetically, but the magnets are far too weak. While you can use the stand, it needs to be on a flat, level desk that won't be jostled. The monitor will slide off the stand's magnets from its own weight. You might be better off attaching the monitor to the stand using double-sided tape. While the monitor is powered via USB-C, it can't draw enough power from an Intel MacBook Pro to power itself if the brightness is above about 50%. Expect that even with a USB-C notebook, you'll still need to power the monitor from its included USB-C power brick. The monitor is lightweight and thin, and feels a bit flimsy. It hasn't sustained any damage in a few trips so far, though. It's not like you're going to put this in a separate hard-side carry case to take it with you; it's going to get crammed in along with your laptop and a whole bunch of cables and power bricks. It'd be more reassuring if it felt more solid.I'm happy with the purchase, and if the stand had decent magnets, it'd be a five-star product.

Literally just high quality "plug & play", very impressed!
First Impression:So just to start out, let me say I was pleasantly surprised with this product straight out of the box.The packaging was very sophisticated, and it comes with all the accessories you would need, which is becoming a rare thing these days.Quality:The display itself has a very sleek profile, while still feeling sturdy and well built, with aluminum and high quality materials. Even the accessories seem well made, including the two very robust usb-c cables in the box. The whole thing felt very 'at home' sitting next to my new dell laptop.Connection:Connecting this thing up was what really pushed me over the edge into 'wow' territory...I literally just plugged the usb cable in between the two and it instantly snapped on, and connected by itself. Not only was it seamless, I was amazed that the entire display could be powered and run on that single cable. This is a very cool feature and means you really can use this thing to go fully portable. One thing I will note, it did not work with my phone's usb port, which I found out is a limitation of my phone, not the display. So if you want to use it with your phone or mobile device look up ahead of time if it supports this type of display.Screen:The screen on this thing is really lovely! High resolution, super crisp, and with a good color range.I will say out of the box mine did not seem super well calibrated, and was a bit too cool in tone. But, this was all easily adjustable with the in-display menu and the button on the side of the screen. Also, while this thing does work just off a single usb connection, plugging it into power let me turn the brightness up much higher, which would probably be necessary for using this in a bright room or space.Oh and, dispite having the logo on the front say "dragon TOUCH" it is not touch screen! So beware fingerprints.Final thoughts:I am really impressed with this package, especially the build quality, ease of use, and portability. While I have only been using this for a few days, I look forward to taking this with me on trips to extend my laptops functionality while on the go. Great product!
