The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me - PlayStation 5

A solid conclusion to The Dark Pictures Anthology: Volume 1. The character variety stands out, and the game delivers a strong dose of horror and paranoia—arguably the creepiest entry yet, with tension that builds nicely throughout. While House of Ashes remains my favorite of the four, this installment takes a respectable second place. Highly recommended for fans of the series or anyone craving immersive, psychological horror.

I think this might be my favorite of the Dark Pictures anthology. The graphics, for once, were great. I loved all of the characters. The story was creepy and unsettling. It was a lot of fun to play.

I love the Dark Anthology series. I have collected them all. This one is ESPECIALLY fun!

After finishing "The Quarry" I jumped right into this game. It plays a tad different but you get use to it. I was not too excited about the characters at first but as you play the game the characters grow on you. The controls are decent as well. I would suggest playing on performance mode rather than quality mode. Performance will give you better FPS on the PS5 and honestly to me looks better than quality mode. The game started kind of slow for me but that's just because they are giving you the story first. I would give this game a 7/10. It has a few bugs but nothing that can't be fixed with patches later. Not sure why this game received such bad reviews. Its a great game. I found myself going back and restarting the scenes to get a better outcome. I like that about this game. In the Quarry you have to beat the game first before you can restart scenes. The Quarry is an 8/10 since as it's slightly more polished and has known characters/actors. I went into this game without any knowledge of what it was about. The serial killer story was pretty good if your in to that type of game. This game is a great addition to the series. Note: There were a few occasions were my character couldn’t move because the path was blocked by the other characters. Toggling the flashlight while moving forward made the other character move out of my way. If that doesn’t work then you may have to restart the checkpoint.

Great story really enjoy this game and producers recommend to anybody that's a horror fan or a casual gamer that wants a good story

Play the entire series, so creative, such an amazing change to the normal game experience. You should give it a try

Meiner Meinung nach wird Until Dawn, der Probeteil der Dark pictures Reihe, immer der beste bleiben. Die anderen Teile lagen dem ersten gegenüber weit zurück, doch Devil in me hat mich sehr fasziniert! Die neuen Mechaniken steigen das Horror-feeling erheblich und es ist wesentlich schwerer zu überleben als in den bisherigen Teilen. Sehr empfehlenswert!
