Mongoose Hooligan AL Adult, Fat Tire BMX Bike, Lightweight Aluminum Frame, Multiple Speed Options, Disc Brakes

I hadn't ridden a bike in 25 years. Hopped on this sucker and started pedaling, pretty cool. I'm definitely not a bike person but wish the crank sprocket was just a bit bigger, your rpms top out pretty quick. I strongly recommend a bike repair stand and that you go through all the assembly instructions to check everything. I tossed the seat and put a gel unit on. The grips are straight garbage, I changed them to Oury's before ever riding it. I also used a forged aluminum seatpost, I had the same one this model comes with on an older mongoose and broke it in short order because I'm huge like your Uncle Louie. I took the stupid reflectors off because they look gay plus, mongoose says right in the owners manual night riding is NOT recommended and I'm not a knight rider even though I do own a cheesy black leather jacket. Changed the tubes to Bell with sealant inside them. Ordered somw handlebars with a higher rise because I'm old. Will pick up some maxxis tires when these wear out. Added to black reflective tape to the front of the handlebars and a rear fender. The bike is cooler than I am that's for sure.

It's a nostalgic bicycle because I had one when I was a kid and now that they make adult BMX bikes is like a godsend because it just feels like I didn't grow up but I did and the BMX is fitted for me now and I don't have to look silly ride my bike around being a big man on a little bike I can ride a bike that's a blowing up version and that fits me as a bigger person so it works out perfectly and yes it is a very light very slick looking like and I'm very happy with it this will probably be the last bike I will never buy now that I'm almost 50 I don't think I'm going to be buying too many more BMX bikes or you know depends on how long or how much energy I do have but I will ride that bike until I can't ride it anymore

Extremely disappointed! For as much as these bikes cost the quality control is not there. One of the bolt holes that hold the handle bars on the hole is stripped out and looks like the treads are pulled along with missing the bolt required which make sense seeing how the hole is tore up. Nothing like seeing disappointment on your son's face.

Seems like a nice bike but it is not assembled well. It should be taken to a competent mechanic to get it properly adjusted. It's pretty nice once that is done.

The Bike itself very nice, easy to assemble, single speed bike. no Kickstand, Single Break, for the price one would assume, it would have Dual brakes and a Kickstand but minor as bike is light, Rides well for taller guys, Only Downside, the shipped in Box had a hole as bike tire joint was punctured thru shipping box n box appeared torn up, not a great way to receive your item!!, luckily Bike turned out Ok.

Looks great and works magic for me! Great value for me!
