I live and work on a small rural homestead. We get too many trespassing illegal deer hunters year round at all hours of the day and night.Since 2020 it got worse. The deer have moved up against the occupied houses on the property. So now the illegal deer hunters are shooting at the houses where people live on this homestead, which endangers the lives of the people that live here. It is private property and No Hunting is allowed.Game Wardens just give the illegal deer hunters warning after warning.I tried other more expensive cameras that did not work on getting license plate numbers or catching these guys so that criminal charges can be filed against them. And so that my boss and landlord can file civil lawsuit against them for property damages.I get the license plate numbers by using the orange joystick knob on my smartphone to change the position of the camera.It has night vision. I can change to angle of filming to get the needed evidence of what the trespassing illegal deer hunters are doing. The camera is positioned so that I can swivel it to catch them baiting the deer which is illegal in my state.Since the homestead has a low power rural internet system, this camera works. It has multiple outbuildings so we put it up on one of the buildings for right now.There are multiple security lights that help the camera lighting so it shows everything that I need to know.There is an intercom button on the live view so that I can hear and speak to the uninvited people if I need to do it.I tried more expensive cameras that did not work. This one is lower and price and performs better than the more expensive cameras.The needed SD card costs around $10.I can go back into the stored video footage and transfer any footage that I need to copy.After over 2 years of trying to find a decent outdoor camera that works for catching criminal activity on the homestead, I found it with this camera.

I needed an extra camera for street watch. It's really good camera for the price. This wireless camera is run and controlled with, and mobile app. Package comes with all necessary mounts and screws, so don't need to buy anything additional.PROS-Easy setup. App walks you trough step by step setup, so even non tech people can set it up with ease.- Easy mounting setup. I love that it's possible to move camera to almost any angle.-Camera is controlled with an app, which is great. It's easy to manage camera. Cool thing is, if you have multiple cameras, you can watch all of them at the same time.- Good connection and even better night mode. So far haven't had any connection issues, and I was surprised how good night mode is.- Has two way audio!- Vide are saved in SD card, another good thing. Life without unnecessary cloud subscriptions, and lost videos, because there as an issue with a network.- Very good video quality and I love that there are options between SD and HD.- Can do manual recordings trough your phone and video will be saved at your phone.CONS- I wish Wi-Fi antennas and SD card slot would be at other side of cable. I haven't had any connection issues so far, but it's because my Wi-Fi router is close to camera location, probably if it's located farther from camera, can have some connection issues. If SD card slot would be inside of house, it would be easier to change cards when needed, as my camera is mounted in tricky place, I will need to climb my wall every time I need to empty SD card.- Cable could have been a bit longer, but USB extension cable did the trick.

I love how there’s no subscription and that it can be used without the SD card at least in a basic way.-without the SD card, you won’t be able to watch playback if your camera sensed movement on its own, you CAN however see the picture it snaps in the moment and you can record deliberately and that will be stored in your app-I wish it had a solar power source-I wish you had quick buttons within the app to quickly sound the siren or to turn it off.If you arm your camera it’ll react to every speck of dust and sound the alarm every few minutes, had it go off 4 times as I’m typing this. Which means I can’t realistically leave the cameras armed at night. (EDIT: I do arm them at night, now that the bugs have subsided it’s actually not that bad)-the app is awfully slow. I dread getting a motion notification on my phone because I know I HAVE to check it, but it will take 6 months to view it, because it’s usually stuck loading. (EDIT: It’s much better now!)The app could always be better, but I do recommend them if you just want a no BS, no nickel and dime little camera.
