Updated Review on 20th July, 2025 This SSD Gave Up Abruptly without warning in 6 months. Great as long as it lasted which is just around 6 months of actual usage. My Original HDD still goes strong even after 14 years. So this SDD is a poor replacement of the orignal XBOX HDD. Never go for this Used this to replace my 250 GB HDD in XBOX 360 Slim which was bought in 2011 and now out of space. Also purchased a 2.5 MAXCOM SSD enclosure from Amazon to house the SSD inside XBOX360. Pros 1) XBOX 360S boots almost instantly 2) Copied over 500 games on the SSD 3) Remarkably faster 4) SSD works well on both Mac and Windows as well as XBOX 360 5) With a HiperAds 2.5 Sata Cable I attained speeds of over 280MBPS on a thunderbolt 3 USB 3.1 C port. Cons 1) Lasted just around 1.5 years 2) Unreliable 3) Not to be used for gaming

I made a feature film this year and I wanted to isolate all my project files for DaVinci resolve to access in a separate hard drive. This hard drive is pretty much what you'd expect from an SSD drive. It's easy to install, fast and hasn't caused me any trouble so far. Just One hitch though: This drive has a sister drive installed in my computer - the WD Green 240GB. I used the WD Dashboard app to update the WD Green's firmware and within 2 hours, that WD Green drive crashed and crashed so bad that if I didn't unplug the SATA cable from the WD green, my computer won't even boot up. They got my drive replaced because it was within warranty, but I lost all my data in that drive. So I'm not even touching the firmware update button for this drive and I'd recommend the same. Even without the firmware update, your drive will be just great so don't ever do that if you love your data.

I successfully used this 1TB WD SSD to increase the storage capacity inside my Eufy HomeBase 3. The drive is silent, generates no heat and handles the video disk transfer needs of seven 4K security cameras. Excellent price compared to other options, but more importantly, it works in the Eufy HomeBase 3 without any issues. The SSD’s case has screw positions in exactly the same locations as a traditional 2.5” disk drive, so the SSD can be used in most situations to replace one eg. a laptop. Very highly recommended.

Niestety dysk po ok 1 miesiącu pracy generuje powtarzające się błędy ( Windows 11). Często nie pozwala na uruchomienie systemu i raz na 2-3 dni trzeba go reperować narzędziem sprawdzania błędów. Do wymiany.
