I'm a metalsmith and it works great for making small to medium size jewelry pieces. I use an o2 concentrator & disposable propane and it was super easy to set this torch up with my system.

I've used an Original Little Torch setup for many years and have worn out two of them over time. The smaller original torch tips have drilled rubies for the holes and these are just plain copper tips drilled out. Not the same precision tips when under high pressures, the drilled rubies are give a far superior exact small flame which is really nice if you need things that small and powerful. But if this is not needed, this all copper setup works fine, you just get no real flame size graduation to choose from. Price is certainly right, the product arrived swiftly and all things were in working order with no leaks anywhere. Same design as the original. All in all, a real bang for the buck and recommended

I bought this product instead of the much higher price Smith Little Torch since I won't be using the torch much and wanted to see if this type torch worked for melting small quantities of silver for jewelry crafting. Seems like a fairly good product for the price. As an earlier reviewer mentioned, I had a little issue screwing the hose on the Oxygen tank. It was hard to turn and I didn't want to force it and damage threads on the tank. A little silicone lubrication helped and the oxygen hose connected okay. Tips were nos. 1,2,3,4,5 so the largest in this kit is a little smaller than the largest tip that comes with the Smith assortment. That's okay because I'm buying the Smith heating tip anyway and it fits this torch.

This thing is not safe, tips leak, my hands are worth 100 bucks if a real Smith is any better. For the money it's a fantastic deal, just think it's not worth the risk, if you want to roll the dice fantastic, hell of a lot of torch for the price. Returned mine just not worth it from acetylene safety standpoint. Maybe a Smith is no better will eventually try one.
