These pills were too big for me to swallow. So I tried opening the capsule, dumping the powder in water, and swallowing the mixture. It tasted so bad and made me so sick that I immediately vomited all of it back up along with everything else that was in my stomach. Amazon would not give me a refund.

I have taken the chewable type of deglycyrrhizinated licorice before, and had no bad reaction, but I had a severe reaction to these. My lip became swollen, and I had hives from it.

This product did nothing to aid my digestion and, according to my doctor, DGL may be carcinogenic.
