Q: When using this outside, do the birds eat it? I want to reduce my growing squirrel & chipmunk population without harming any birds.

Keep in mind, this product has a label, and the label is the law. Target pests are rats and mice. leaving it out in the open for anything to get to is not only reckless but morally wrong.My actual recommendation for squirrels is a live trap ($40-50 and reusable) and release on the other side of town, at a park or greenbelt. Or pellet rifle, Crossman Pumpmaster 760 is what I use for all my pigeon and starling needs, low cost and accurate. Works on rodents too.

Q: must this be placed in a bait station, it will go in a commercial basement with no children or pets (that i care about) joking

You want it to go into a bait station. The smell will bring the mouse into the station then it will not be able to get out. The poison will set in and kill the mouse. You will then remove the mouse so there is no smell.

Q: Does it work on chipmunks?

It doesn’t even work on mice. Save your money!

Q: Wil this also help with riding my yard of squirrels?

I am unsure if you want to slow the squirrels down enough to ride them . Or be rid of them. ( ridding or riding ) ? 😁
