meh.
After reading the mixed reviews, and several days of indecision, I finally clicked the "buy" button.Upon opening the box, I immediately was dismayed, thinking the pieces were damaged/cracked, until closer look -- it was hotglue webs all over the pots and cups. Probably occurred during packaging, and I have to wash them anyway. Not a biggie. Another disappointment was that I thought the large bowl and utensil holder was included in the set. It obviously does not.Next, was the test: Will it leak? Fired up some hot water and made the pours. Mine did not leak, and functioned as designed. Okay, happy. However, the base will not sit level on a table, and rocks slightly. Perhaps a second or two on a belt sander would correct that, but it shouldn't be necessary in the first place.First few uses went as expected. Then I experienced the "leaks" issue others noted: On my second infusion this morning, as I poured the hot water on the leaves, it ran straight out into the fairness gong dao bai, even though it was not near to the steel ball. I had to pick up the gaiwan and rattle the steel ball back into its detent, in the center. Started over.Overall, it is a nice looking set, and functions as intended. Maybe it's best used for adding a touch of ceremony when serving guests. I will try to give it a few more daily uses before deciding its ultimate fate.Whether you want to drop the not-so-insignificant amount of money for it....

The color is bit more blue-ish then picture shows
Was given as a gift, I thought the color was going to be like blue/green. But it's blue. They could have painted the gold parts bit better and CAUTION the glass is VERY THIN!! I only dislike how small the cups are

Manufacturing defect
The magnet that was supposed to be in the top of the handle seems to have melted and solidified itself on the bottom of the pot. Looks to be just a defect. I didn't notice what was wong with it till it was far too late.

Pretty but not for the money
If you want a pretty display piece it's ok but for the money....no.

It’s Ok
This is a 5 foot tea set. It looks good from about five feet away. Any closer than that, and it’s not as impressive. It works just fine, so I have no complaints there. However the glass is thin, which makes me wonder about how long it will hold up. I’ve already had to glue the carafe handle and the lid handle back on.Overall it does what it’s supposed to but, for the money, I would have expected something more robust.

very clever design
I really like the design of this teapot, it is very convenient to use, but the workmanship is not very good, and the water is not very smooth!
