The unit came folded and left it out over night before installing. This is a good tread for dirt trails, I will have to look at an asphalt tire if I want to use on the road. Was pretty easy to install I had a puller tool and an extra set of hands. I will update if anything changes in a reasonable amount of time. Tightly fits the rim like the original rubber

The Maxxis Minion Rear II is easily one of the best tyres I’ve used for trail and mountain riding. The grip is fantastic it bites into loose terrain, gravel, and mud with confidence, yet still rolls smoothly on harder ground. The cornering feels predictable and controlled, even at speed, which really boosts confidence on technical descents. The EXO sidewall protection gives that extra peace of mind against punctures and cuts, and it holds up well under rough conditions. Setting it up tubeless was straightforward, and it sealed quickly with no leaks. It’s also surprisingly durable for such a grippy tyre, with minimal wear after plenty of rides. Overall, it’s a top-quality rear tyre that offers excellent performance, reliability, and control perfect for anyone who takes off-road riding seriously.
