i had this phone case on my phone for just over a year. while it was new, it was amazing. protected my phone, nothing i put between the phone and case moved, and i loved it! as it got older, it slowly fell apart. i should also say, i’m quite clumsy so i drop my phone a lot. this case kept the screen safe and didn’t let the phone get scratched, dented, or shattered, but all my dropping it definitely made it break faster than it probably should have. i will be buying more phone cases from this company in the future for sure

UPDATE:After having my Sonix case break, I was so disappointed and reached out to their support team. They were SO helpful and immediately got back to me - asked for my Amazon order number and photos of the broken case - and then immediately sent out a replacement case for me. What I didn't know is that all of their cases do have a warranty! I am so grateful for all of their help, and it seems like the build of this case is slightly heftier than the previous one so hoping this one lasts longer! The case does protect my phone - and is also so cute! Huge thanks to Sonix.PREVIOUS POST:So sad and disappointed. I’ve had three Sonix cases before this one. They had changed the design so that now it’s no longer a rubber piece inside a plastic shell, but just one piece, so I was worried about it not protecting my phone the same way. At first all was fine with this case and it did protect my phone from many a fall but then the case suddenly broke. The side bumper piece separated from the back piece along the side and so the piece of plastic that sits above the volume button fell out, meaning I can’t use the case because it doesn’t press on the down volume button at all. The previous cases all lasted me a year or more, while this one lasted me just over 6 or so months. I’m disappointed as I always bragged that Sonix were the best made cases. Definitely bummed since the case itself isn’t cheap. I guess I’ll have to buy another or look into different brands.

I think this is a beautiful, sleek case and feels sturdy and well made. It's a very elegant design without being trashy.I bought this case because I do tend to drop my phone, and always have a screen protector and "drop safe" case on it. That's a major reason why I bought this case.A few days after receiving and starting to use the case, it of course fell, and the screen absolutely shattered. This then meant I had to spend $150 on having the screen replaced, having just spent $35 on the case itself. I reached out to the company (Sonix) to discuss this with them, because a brand new case on a 6-month old iPhone should have lived up to it's claims. I am very disappointed in the response they sent me:"Our cases are military drop test certified meaning they were tested by dropping a phone from 7 feet onto a hardwood surface for a total of 30 times from every angle. The phone was inspected after every drop and no damage was identified. If your phone received damage we recommend that you contact Apple or the store where you purchase your phone. As the manufacturer and seller of your phone, they should be able to better help you with warranty information regarding your device."Recommending me to speak to Apple (where I bought the phone) completely disregards any responsibility the company has regarding their product "certifications". I absolutely do not recommend buying this case if you are buying it based on it's "drop safe" certification.​

Like the fact that it is scratch resistant, and durable! Did not like that I had to force it on with a flat-head screwdriver! Could have damaged the phone!

I love my new tortoiseshell case by Sonix! It’s super cute and classy! I would say that the colors are a little bit brighter than the photo on Amazon. You can get a better idea of what the true color of this case is on Sonix’s website. Like other reviewers stated, there is a slight ‘click’ sound when pressing the on/off and volume buttons with the case and it’s really quite satisfying. I haven’t dropped my phone from a substantial height yet, but the case seems very well made and heavy duty despite not being super bulky. It’s just right for me!

I personally don’t go for protection when shopping for phone cases, but I will say that this case has saved my phone screen from a few drops. It’s not the most protective, but it’s good enough for me. I’ve had it for a few months now and it’s still in practically the same condition since I got it. I’ve had phone cases in the past that completely fall apart after a few months, but this one has been holding up really well. I love the design, too.

My second one! I love this brand of cases. I especially love how it doesn’t really feel like there’s a case bc you can still press the buttons wo bending a nail. I wish there were more options w the black rim bc I like it to match w my black phone.

I love it! This is my second Sonix case. I bought this for variety and it’s cute for summer! The first one I have was starting to look a little dirty on the edges from the natural oil on my hands, but is in otherwise great condition after 3+ years. They are very durable. I drop my phone so much and the only thing that’s ever cracked is the glass screen protector (you have to purchase separately). Really pretty! Love the shimmer on the lemons. Highly recommend. Worth the price.

Love this case. It is such great quality. I was reluctant to buy this not because of reviews but because of the price. I am a student so £30+ on a phone case is crazy to me, but I am so thrilled I purchased this case. It is not only stylish but very protective of my phone. I know that the buttons are nicely covered, and the button pads are well made and strong. I have dropped my phone a couple of times before I had my PopSocket (definitely recommend those), and my iPhone 8 Plus which was made of all glass was FINE. NO CRACKS, DENTS, OR SCRATCHES!

The buttons on the case are brilliant as they actually feel like real buttons. However now that I have had it a few months, the decorative layer is starting to chip away. I take excellent care of my devices so this is more wear and tear than I would expect. It's also a little bulky.

would buy again. I get lots of compliments on it. I have dropped my phone and it has held up.
