Beautiful and fascinating

I love this globe. It gracefully turns all day and at night when a light is on, and stops turning in the dark, which I guess saves the battery or whatever it is that makes it turn. It is a real conversation piece, and the color looks lovely in our home with traditional furnishings. It was a bit expensive, but worth the price for this truly unique treasure.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift in October and now it is outside the return window. The product does not spin even in direct sunlight and away from any magnetic interference.
