Very worthwhile if you want to travel with a bike
I've only been using this for a couple of weeks, I'm a fan but we'll see how it goes. This safely and securely mounts the bike, freeing up space in the bed. No more laying an expensive bike down. That drives me nuts. It seems well made however what connects the bike to the mount is a plastic rod, that may be by design to allow for flex, but I'm keeping an eye on it. I was not confident in how rigidly it holds the bike, especially on rough roads but that was easily fixed with a tied down that compressed the front forks a hair. The product holds it in place so the tie down will work and it's an easy thing to take on and off, That might sound negative but if that's all it takes then I'm delighted. The mounts really should be removed if you're going to use the bed of the pickup for stuff, or go through a car wash, but that will take just a couple of minutes. My take is that if you want to securely keep your bike in the pickup bed, it's the best option I've seen. I just ordered a second one for my wife's bike. Good product.

Product Works Very Well, Keeps Bikes in a Solid position within the Truck Bed
The Positives:Well made product and easy to put together and install. They hold the bikes in the truck bed with a real rigid feel, they bikes didn't move anywhere even when travelling over rough terrain. No issues with adjustability, there was enough length in the threaded rod to grab ahold of the bikes.A few Negatives:The nuts that slide into the rails can be a little tight so you have to position them correctly to get them to slide down your rails. Due to the size of the nuts that slide into the rails, they have to be installed through the end of the rail, they can't be installed through the front of the rail. Having a nut that can slide through the front and then twisted 90 degrees to hold into the rail would be preferable. The clasp that threads into these nuts has just a lock washer and a very small regular washer which is already scratching the surface off the nicely finished metal of the bracket itself. I plan on modifying this by adding some plastic washers to stop this damage. Also as these clasps are hand tightened easily for easy install and removal BUT can also be easily stolen if you leave them in your truck while you are off enjoying your ride. I removed mine and stored them inside the truck while we were away. Would be great to have a lockable option or I will replace the clasp with some standard 8mm bolts with a hex head so you have to have the right Allen key with you to be able to steal them.Love the Product ThoughWould highly recommend to others.

Does the job, good accessory.
Gets my bike into my 2022 Tacoma 5ft bed. Initially I was using both brackets but had to keep the tailgate down so my bike would fit.Using a bed cleat and a single bracket, I flipped the bike with the front wheel turned andfacing the back. Now I can close the tailgate and fit two bikes. One of the angle plates that fits between the bracket and the edge of the bed wouldn't get snug, so I removed it. This is sort of a non-issue.The D-ring on top of the bracket is nice to have. The brackets are easy to adjust along the c-channel and can be easily moved out of the way.

Perfect! Fits 08+ Tundra
Don't fear the gripper! If you own a pick up truck and your bike won't allow removing the front wheel or you just don't want to do that, this is the rack for you!I looked almost every possible option for putting bikes in the back of my 4WD 2008 Tundra Crew Max before finding this one. I was ready to rig something up of my own design. I had already spent hundreds of dollars on solutions but none have been quite so simple or satisfying as the Inno Velo Gripper. The reviews I read on Amazon had me concerned but I am so glad I took the risk and ordered these.I have a bike addiction - mostly mountain bikes but that doesn't stop me from riding urban, road and comfort bikes in a number of places throughout California and Arizona. Unless I remove the front wheel, the bed of my truck is too short for any of my bikes. However, recently my wife and I got new mountain bikes which due to their unique fork design, completely eliminate using the previous system I had - which required removing the front wheel. So, we started using our trailer hitch bike rack to transport them. What a pain!Don't get me wrong, a trailer hitch rack is sufficient for short hauls but it's not great for off-road adventures or long laborious slogs across the highways and byways of our great nation. If it fails, the bikes are toast. While researching alternatives, I stumbled upon the Inno Velo Gripper and liked the concept. I decided to give them a shot and ordered them, knowing that for my Tundra rail system, I'd need the RT-202 version. I ordered two sets. Shockingly enough, they arrived the very NEXT DAY! (Thanks Amazon PRIME!) I came home from work and excitedly opened the box. Everything checked out. With all parts present and accounted for, I stepped out into the triple digit heat to inspect my rail system and see how the installation might work. I had no intention of actually installing them but after seeing how simple it was, I went to work. In about 5 minutes (no exaggeration) I had one set completely installed. I never even opened the instructions! My wife came out to see what I was doing and saw I had already fitted my bike in the rack. "Wait what?!" she exclaimed. Yeah, it was THAT easy. If you're struggling with installation, you may want to stop and re-think it. The rectangular "bolt" slides inside the c-channel of the rail. You have to slip the plastic end cap off your rail to acheive this. It's made to do this! The rest is simple but you may need to wedge your finger (or a screwdriver) behind the rectangle bolt to allow the screw threads to meet and start in the bolt. When you begin installation on your set, this statement will make sense. You just need a small amount of support to push the rectangle bolt forward enough inside the channel for the threads to catch. I did this with my finger.I put it to the test right away. On my truck (because it's a short bed) I have to leave the tailgate down with bikes inside. No big deal. The bike stayed upright and secure as I took the truck over some curbs, whipped through Los Angeles rush hour traffic and swiftly chose a flowy line through traffic back home. What? You mad bro?I have every confidence the Inno Velo Gripper will serve my needs well in the months ahead. It solves a tremendous problem for me, allowing the bikes to ride securely and upright in the bed of my truck without removing the front wheel. Locking, securing and removing the bikes is fast and easy. It can even be done without climbing into the truck bed. It is not perfect (it doesn't fit my Cannondale Lefty Trigger 29er 1 PBR Fork perfectly but it's good enough) but its a far better solution then I could find anywhere else.Overall, I'm very pleased. I bet you will be, too.
