This really is the condiments that goes on everything!
I was really curious about this sauce from the Philippines, banana ketchup is an interesting idea. I picked this brand, and got the spicy version, which I feel like is the best way to go, even though I haven't had regular. It's interesting, made without tomatoes, going with traditional recipes, it still has that similar taste, because of the vinegar base of the sauce. It's definitely a sweeter ketchup and the spicy version has a great balance to the sweetness. I also like that this has half the sugar of a tomato ketchup, with more flavor. I used it with the frozen chicken bites, and the sauce was great, it's definitely a refreshing taste with the blend of sweet and spicy. I can see why people put it on everything.

AWFUL!!!!!!!
Why did you pick this product vs others?: This is AWFUL!!! It tastes like bananas, not a Filipino banana sauce. Unfortunately, food items cannot be returned so we are stuck with it. It will be going in the trash; what a huge waste of money. If you want good banana sauce, try Jufran.

Good Banana Ketchup!
I quite love this brand of banana ketchup. It does have a more prominent banana taste than others that I've tried. This is a wonderful option for those who are looking for tomato free ketchups. I have put it on everything from nuggets to fries and even fish. It has good vinegar profile with a slightly tangy taste but I'd say it is more sweet than tangy. I really enjoy this one.

Not great unfortunately
I wanted to like it. The thought of being able to get a reliable banana sauce in the US was a nice thought but unfortunately that’s all it was. It doesn’t taste right and it’s got a very odd color and the consistency is just not anywhere in the realm of UFC or Jufran. I know this is supposed to be its own brand and identity but you’re going to be judged on the Filipino staples.
