Glacier Tek Cooling Vest for Men and Women with 8 Cooling Packs Plus Booster Set-Maintains 59ºF for up to 2.5 Hours

I ordered this to wear this Summer for Friday Night Football games because I have a form of Dysautonomia called POTS WHICH MEANS I cannot regulate my own body temperature and here in TX this Summer it has been reaching 110° without taking into consideration the heat index. I got this one eventhough it was more pricey in comparison to others because it claims to keep your core body temp significantly lower for 2 hours in 100° weather which for me can mean the difference between Fainting just while sitting due to the heat and being able to enjoy my daughter's halftime performance.I have worn it to 2 performances for over 2 hours and the original ice packs lasted the entire 2 hours. I wore the vest under my tshirt but over my bra and I stayed cool the entire time and was able to stay the entire game. I still sweated in other parts of my body but the ice packs did not cause my vest to become wet not did my short appear wet like many other ice packs would do. While the $250 is a hefty price tag it was well worth spending for me not to miss attending my daughter's events. Until the temperature drops significantly and I'm having to wear a jacket and heat warmers in gloves and boots this vest will be worn to keep my cool to keep me from passing out!!!!!!Thank you for making sure a well made vest and ice packs that allows us parents with health conditions to still be an active part of our children's lives. Would 100000% recommend this product to people that have to work out in the heat and have a hard time staying cool

Excellent vest for skeet shooting in the heat of the summer down here in Southeast Texas. Stays cool for several rounds and doesn't interfere with my shooting. Highly adjustable with the option to add additional cool packs!

Update2: By releasing all the straps before putting the vest on, it becomes easy to zip up. It works great, keeping me cool for at least 45 minutes. Glad I kept working with it!Update: After writing the below I tried using just the four cell ice packs and the vest zippered easily. I added two booster packs in the back pockets and it zippered again, but I think that's its limit. The company could make the vest wider to solve the problems with having a full pack and not being able to zipoper itAfter installing two ice packs, the four cell pack and a booster per pocket as the instructions read, it was impossible to zipper the vest. It's supposed to be one size fits all but the vest with the ice packs felt like a small, a very small. I'm 5'8" and 160 lbs so it should have fit me fine. I did finally close the vest with the straps only and it did keep me cool for about an hour, but it looked and felt awkward. For the price I paid, I was really disappointed.

I love it! Helping me through the summer months. The only thing is the shoulder area is a bit scratchy but I wear it underneath with an A-Shirt and work shirt over top to prevent damage

I work in South Florida for UPS. Heat exhaustion and stroke are a big concern.This vest helps tremendouslyI highly recommend it to everyone

Even with the booster packs, the vest only felt cool for an hour at a time, and I don’t have enough time at work to change them out that frequently. While working up a sweat, they trap in as much heat if not more than the ice packs offset.

The booster packs do not work and will not freeze. I would send them back but it’s too much of a hassle and I’ve already thrown the box away.

I had to work on my truck I keep in a storage yard. I’m old & retired. I tried the vest at 100F (109 on skin). After 45 minutes it still had chunks that were still frozen! I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, it kept me a lot cooler! Previous trip to yard without vest made me sick from sun stroke. This trip, I felt great and was able to sit inside truck with no AC. I HIGHLY recommend this vest and recommend you buy the extra UPGRADED ice packs. I’m going to buy ice pack headgear to keep my brain cool after wearing a phase change headband also that day. Keep your head cool and avoid heat stroke! It’s very easy to put on with Velcro adjusting straps & inserting ice packs is easy. I’m finding lots of uses, like mowing the yard, landscaping my property, any activity in this summers heat wave, buy it!
