Low Cost, Good Performance, Hard to fault if you have realistic expectations for a small MIG.
To be clear you are not going to be producing perfect welds in thick material with this welder...... because it's the size of a shoe box and is in no way capable of putting out the amps required to do that. What you can do is a wide range of sensible tasks that a low power MIG or half decent stick welder could manage in a package that is tiny and highly portable. In these scenarios it's performance is more than adequate! Need to smoke an exhaust bracket back on, it'll do that. Weld a gate up? Yep it can manage that. Stick a bracket on a bit of sheet steel, got that too. You could probably even do some automotive panel work with it if you were well practised and had it dialed in just right. Settings are very straight forward and self explanatory, wire install is a piece of cake (although a decent flux core wire will see you way ahead of what comes with it!). The stick holder that it comes with is okay, the Mig torch a little better than okay (it's a gas torch but obviously without the gas!) and general build quality is pretty decent. One thing that should be stressed is just how tiny and therefore portable this is, it is so small there is no excuse for not having a welder kicking about to solve those "fell off on a Sunday" issues as it will pack away into the smallest of cupboards. Some have mentioned a section of PCB exposed within the welder when the door is opened, however the one I received appears to be a V2 as this has a cover plate fitted in this area. Really good tool to have on hand!

Great little welder
Have had the welder for a week but only just had the chance to use it, its small, light and appears well made. Everything is pretty simple and straight forward if you have welded before, though be aware the earth cable is very short, which you have to have the welder very close to where your welding, welding wise its very good, got good clean welds on the metal i was using, but on thin sheet not so good, very easy to melt it. Otherwise well worth the money for the odd bit of home or hobby welding.

Great buy
Very pleased with my purchase, I’m completely new to welding and I don’t know much about it at all, I have always wanted to learn to weld so that I can build a few simple things and do some odd repair bits at home and on my car. This little welder is amazing to use it’s simple to understand and I found that within 30 minutes I was pretty good with it, my second attempt was better than my first and it just got better and easier as I went on. I would recommend getting this to anyone who wants to learn a new skill and enjoy the experience of working with metal, obviously professional welders will have bigger and more complex machines but for the hobbyists it is great.

Car welding
Bought it to weld van sills. Good bit of kit and easy to use. Had a few issues with feeding wire through at first setup but apart from that a good machine.

Does the job at an affordable price
I had not picked up a welding torch in 40 years, now retired I fancied another try. This was a bargain at £95 and to my surprise the tiny box of tricks really did pack a punch, the MIG welder is all I have tried so far, it came with a coil of fluxed wire,so I assembled the kit and gave it a go. The loading of the wire is a bit fiddly, take care not to release the tension on the coil of wire, there is a very helpful video to follow, wish I had, my wire uncoiled like a clock spring, but after a little faffing it was back in place and ready to go. The tip was .8 the wire was point .8, I had to swap the tip for a 1mm to make the feed work. The feed seems to have one speed, just pull the trigger and flow the weld at the wire speed and all is well. I managed to weld down both side of a tent peg, onto a sheet of steel with each. I checked the reverse of the steel sheet and the weld had penetration was great, 50% left nob and about 70v did the trick. I also managed to reattach a stainless steel handle to a kitchen appliance, finer stuff, but very little problem This little welder appears to do the job, it is a quarter of the weight of my last machine, and so far is easy to use. I would recommend this for home and DIY use, low cost, but does the job.

Useless
Avoid! It trips the fuse all the times so basically useless!

Great little thing, weighs less than a box of carling lol
Emergency buy, I work in the motor trade and usually have access to a argon set up at work but my daughter was learning steel pan music and the school was desperate to have one fixed that had a 7 inch crack, didn't have time to take it to work as it was for a charity concert, ordered this, came same day, welded the crack up, happy school, even happier kid, I'd recommend and I've yet to use the arc side but overall great cheap get out of jail free unit, well built, welding torch is lovely, everything's very robust and the settings are easy to function.

Absolute mess of a machine. Only worked in stick mode. Mig mode fed wire but had no current flow. Literally the only good thing was the refund

I have used this Simder 10 in 1 welder, and plasma cutter several times. I'm repairing a Chevy Silverado truck frame and it has worked pefectly. The plasma cutter cut out the rotted cross members with ease, and the Flux core mig welding feature works great. I had to adjust the settings a bit from what they were, but once dialed in it worked perfect. I've seen videos of pros saying these are no good, but my experience with this machine have been great. Sure you can spend a bunch more on different machines and name brands, but if your just using it on average projects this machine will do the job. I would recommend this to friends or family if they asked.

Better than I expected

I was surprised at how much heat this welder generates. I had to adjust the settings way down to keep from burning holes thru the metal. I am replacing the old Lincoln 220 Volt welder for this machine. So far I am very pleased with the operation. I feel this is a great deal since this machine has five different welding options and only requires 120 volts to operate. So far I have used the stick welder and the solder iron, I am very pleased with the welder. I feel this is a great deal since this machine has five different ways to weld. Can run off of 120 V or 220 V whichever connector you prefer, This makes the machine very versatile and portable.
