I actually really like this roof rack. The only thing is that it started to loosen up after being on the road after about 25 minutes. I had to pull over and re tighten the wratchet straps halfway to my destination. I would not recommend going over 55 or 60 with this at all.

I bought these for my corolla a few years ago, and I felt like I needed to come back to leave a review.I use them to transport furniture I buy (though I do get silly looks from bystanders). I also used this for my kayak, surfboard, etc. They’re easy to set up; I can do it by myself. And a bonus, they’re durable. i’ve used them vigorously for years. Would absolutely recommend.

Everything works as it should. It keeps my kayak very secure however it’s LOUD!!! The wind makes the straps whip and it’s pretty unbearable ESPECIALLY going anymore than a 30min drive.

I recently purchased this for my sit on top kayak. I drove a 08 Ford Fusion. This is super easy to slap on top of my car and ratchet down. I highly recommend getting the one with the additional accessories as you never know what might happen. The straps are perfect on my kayak. Because the straps are long I bobby pin them up, I'm sure there is another way but it's not been a problem. The performance is exactly how the described it. I don't hear too much noise outside of the air that goes under the kayak. The straps have been through the rain and on various road trips over 60 miles. Well worth the money!

This works great for our canoe. We cut the pieces apart so that they were wide, so one went on either side of the roof of our vehicle. We drove 1,200 miles with it up there, it speeds in excess of 70 mph. The canoe was more secure than on a traditional roof rack, because these are made of hard foam versus if you're trying to strap them down on hard metal. So worth the price! This is our second removable roof rack, the last one was inflatable and this one is much better.
