This lovely custard is smooth and tasty.

Morrissons custard, nice consistency, great vanilla flavouring ideal in its own, with bananas, apple pies, trifles etc. Lovely creamy taste, great value for money for an item that should be in your cupboard at all times due to the amount uses you can use this custard for.

We are picky eaters, and when it comes to custard we certainly like to have a traditional tasty custard to go with our pudding!! Alot of shops own or store brought custards are certainly not up to our standards, but this one is one of the good ones,along side birds and ambrosia!The custard isn't glow in the dark neon yellow but a subtle realistic yellow and there isn't an overpowering sweetness from sugar or artificial sweeteners like in many, so if you want a super sweet hit then you need to head for the ambrosia, no,this one is more traditional in taste with a taste more likened to the traditional birds custard than the artificial ones. Because of this it doesn't over power the cake, but instead compliments it adding just that slight touch of sweetness and a consistency that's not gloopy or too runny ,just right to moisten not soggy your dessert.Whilst it's cheaper than ambrosia, it's not the cheapest out there but it is an ideal compliment to any cake, so go on and treat yourself,and as the saying goes , " let them have cake"!!
